A compilation of dodges by Rob Pannell that ended with topside shots from 5 games during the 2013 season. This is a companion video to the one I did of Rob Pannell's question mark dodges: • Attack Moves: Rob Pann...
The last play was such terrible defense. If you look closely, lobb gave him his right, which is his strength and lobbs weaker side because he basically gave pannell an E-Z pass, as he exposed his back hip as well. also, as the announcer said, cornell had completely cleared off the crease to about a five yard radius. What duke could've done to counter this was slide to pannell as the other players were in a large clump and there wasn't much space to operate. Although mock is tenacious for getting open, I think the best thing they could have done was slide to pannell and trust kyle turri.
Although I love pannell's aggresive dodging style, I feel like he overlooked a few feed opportunities and forced many of the shots he took, especially during the Duke game
I still stand by my belief that duke played him somewhat better than other teams during the tourney but of course that's open to discussion which I welcome
I think that's fair. He scored the most against them, but that was a matter of opportunity and the score of the game. When Cornell got down, they cleared out for him to dodge more often. They were up against OSU so quickly and by so much, that he hardly dodged at all.
