Rob Paulsen, the renowned voice of characters from Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain, and now both the original and current Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, spoke with us at New York Comic Con about the new TMNT series.
So true, I'm a chick, and I love the series, mostly because of the love between Donnie and April, that's pretty much my main reason for watching the show, I am usually waiting for just a hug, and i'll either flip out of cry of happiness. I literally cried when Donnie got a kiss on the cheek by April. I want to see a kiss on the lips; soon.
This wonderful man was part of childhood he's so awesome. Donnie (rob paulsen) made me so happy I still love the show. I always wanted to be just like donnie.
I love Rob Paulsen to pieces. However, just because something makes money does not make it "good". Large studios will make whatever they want regardless of how anyone feels about it. This is a reflection too of the fact that the taste of the audience is so desensitized that quality has become a thing of the past. Thankfully that is beginning to turn around. He also didn't account for the fact that the numbers at the box office are not a sign that people went because they enjoyed it. It can mean that so many people were only interested in giving it a chance and were sorely disappointed in the results.
this was a good interview, but they didn't talk enough about him being Raphael - Raphael was such a different character in the original series as compared to other mutations of him.
