I know this is an old video, but I really enjoyed watching it and seeing you setup your game. I'm new to 4AD and some of the rules can be confusing, so it's even great to see how you approach it.
This is such a great game! Thanks for showing us this Rob! I love to customize this game ; I've made 2 extra bosses to add to my games (Hooded Chainsaw maniac and Darth Vader)!
Rob I’m thinking about picking up this game plus few expansions, I know you made several videos but this is the first time I’m actually paying attention to this game and I’m going to watch them this coming week but I do have one question if you don’t mind? My question is seeing the many expansion books from my understanding is that new expansion books add new characters, new items, new spells, new tables, new dungeon rooms. How easy it is to use those when you have 4-5 books or more? I’m planning to buy the printed paperback books I know having a printer make things easier with printing all the downloads but I don’t have a printer.
Thanks Rob. This video is helping this old man , ( turned 66 yesterday ) , pick up on this game. I've never been a gamer and sometimes it confusing to me. Hopefully I'm not to stupid to figure it out. 👍😊
@@seahawk8601 Didn't mean that to come out wrong! Sorry. Really enjoy the videos and I know you try really hard to get the rules right. There's a lot that are easy to mess up, I do it all the time but am trying to get better.
One of the best dungeon crawl games ever, and there's tons of expansions available for it. Lifestyle game if you get enough content. Also you can play D&D modules solo using this system: boardgamegeek.com/filepage/164415/four-against-dungeons-dragons

Hey Rob, I'd love to see a video of your process for printing out and binding these books. I'm thinking about printing out some pdf's that I have in the future, but I don't want to end up wasting time and money by using the wrong equipment or doing it wrong.
