Filipino Catholics tend to be more... relaxed / lax though, compared to say, American Catholics or, in his wife's case, Mexican Catholics. A lot of Filipinos just go to church because they think it's an obligation. He probably was influenced more by his wife. If his mom's Catholic, she must be happy about this.
@@luzmaya7787what do u mean? if u think it's an obligation only for filipinos to go to church, why then that wherever the filipinos are in this world, they continue to seek spiritual fill and attend the holy sacrifice of mass. We have a strong Filipino apostolate in almost every parish in the US. Go to every Filipino house and you see Jesus, Joseph and Mary in our altar. We take our catholic faith seriously. An obligation only, doesn't fly our tradition rooted in faith.
To be protestant is to be just born again ...to be Catholic is to truly learn the catechism those that were adults that turn catholic has a strong foundation

Some churchs sing hymns in Latin. Although I flunked Latin I three times at Pleasantville HS, now I find learning these hymns to be an enjoyable intellectual activity. I suggest the "Sanctus", the "Ave Maria" and the "Salve Regina".
Father Ripperger is great! Great to hear more and more people are discovering the truth about the church. Remember for those who don’t know the word “Catholic” is Ancient Greek translation for “universal” or “of the whole”. The term was used by the early church fathers like St.ignatius of Antioch in 110ad to differentiate and solidify the true faith apart from various spin-offs, Zoroastrian nonsense and misinterpretations, solidified in the canon doctrines and traditions that are essentially timeless. The Catholic church exists outside the confines of trends and fads, don’t ever let anyone even within the church say “we have to get with the times” or “things are different now” this is not what Christianity is about, it’s a timeless template for communion with God, family creation, and perpetuating a graceful human spirit that is capable of creating the heavenly kingdom of god here on earth.
This is so great to hear, all these famous people coming out as Catholics because unfortunately that's who people listen to, famous people. After watching the Democrats convention this interview renewed my hope. Even though my fellow citizens in the Progressive Party are so very lost, there is hope. We all need to pray pray pray for them and offer our sufferings up in union with our dearly beloved Savior, Jesus Christ, and pray pray pray for our Country. 🙏🏻🇺🇸

Again, water Baptism "delivers no one."(978) You cannot be "reborn" by water Baptism.(980) Therefore, the Intellectual(s) have to go to a sinner (a priest) in the Sacrament of Penance in order to be "reconciled with God and with the Church."(980) Have you ever read John 14:6? Acts 4:10&12? Probably not.
