Kevin's physique was unreal..great symmetry and proportion with size..round fuller muscle.the first 3D looking muscle before Phil Heath.. He was incredibly strong too..

Might’ve done it if he didn’t take 6 months off from training every single year… He had a couple weak points that he could’ve used the time to focus on and bring up, but he didn’t so he didn’t.

I've idolized Levrone since I first saw him on the cover of Muscle Media. I was an ectomorph that started bodybuilding in 1982. When I saw Kevin I was blown away. He was larger than life. I had no idea he was only 2 years older than me. How could this person achieve such a mind blowing build. All these years later I still hit the gym every week pushing my body to its limit. I will never come close to his achievement but I will be my best of myself reflecting on Kevin as my motivation when I'm down. If there was one person I would want to shake their hand before I die. It would be Kevin Levrone.

@@raindoset5408 in my opinion it was his back that let him down not his shoulders and he was about 5 ft 7ins tall. Personally I would rather have a physique like Shawna than someone like yates.

i reemember in the early 2000s i was competing and i sent kevin a letter asking him how he trained his delts to look so amazing. and i got a letter back that went over some basic exercises, then i realized its genetics mostly and nothing i was missing lol

I was a teen back then. I remember getting muscle tech, Met-RX etc my farts use to stink like hell. Had I gotten into PEDS I could easily turned pro at some point I just didn't know where to buy them. I have good genetics muscle wise not sure if it would translate into taking PEDs though.

Levrone and Wheeler were the most beautiful of bodybuilders. You talk about carved out of stone and chiselled perfect symmetry with balanced size and mass. Legendary!!

Flex Wheeler had the most godlike physique in bodybuilding history. If you can find high definition (photos, not video) images of Flex from the '93 Arnold classic you will be shocked. Kevin, Flex, and Shawn Ray should have at least 2 Sandows each. Not to take anything away from Dorian or Ronnie, but their physiques were comparatively ugly during their Mr. O runs.

People can learn so much from these little clips from back in the day..especially on how to train..not specific split routines but HOW to train, we trained hard, we trained heavy, we focused, you can hear Kevin..." what do you want to look like ? " while doing sets..and doing them with intensity, breaking a sweat. putting in the work. Put away your cell phones and focus kids

Levrone looked better than Yates in 1992 & 1995. He had better arms, legs, shoulders, everything. Coleman's stomach was out of control. Levrone was robbed of titles.

Kevin had the mass with Supreme class with flawless and timeless presentation. He is and was the best uncrowned Mr Olympia ever.He was so unique that no one can replace ever, Levrone is always my favorite champion bodybuilder of all time.

The problem with BB it's very subjective, for me personally I believe Kevin's physiques in 1995 and specially in 2000 more pleasant for the eyes and his body flow was perfect but again he came at an era were Size mattered the most.

From the front he was definitely a Mr O. From the back though he was a level down from Dorian and Ronny. That is why he finished 2nd so many times

No one's shoulders or tris popped like Kevin's. So full so cut. He had a great back and legs for years but honestly I think he knew he wasn't gonna get the crown and stopped training them as hard

Kong, No Kevin decided not to go to the dark side to try to beat Ronnie C, at that point he never really trained legs that hard. 2nd he had a lot of issues with his knees as well.

@@Jay-ju9jw 2000 and 2002 kevin outsized ronnie and equalled condition. His legs dropped after 2000. Politics kept him out of the crown. Ronnies a cripple now because he trained stupid. He got three crowns he didnt deserve, its a shame the ifbb sold out

Been competing & judging for 30 yrs in my opinion Kevin had the best shoulders & traps EVER ! ALWAYS great conditioning, He definitely got Robbed more than once! Still one of the best BB in history ! Hall of fame !

Just insane genetics. One of the greatest hyper responders to gear ever. Really, the perfect template for a bodybuilder. Only needed minimal time on gear to place tops in the world, and could be a normal guy for 6 to 8 months of the year.

Kevin is naturally a very strong guy, that is universally acknowledged. He is genetically a freak, but I think he also takes 1st prize for having a body chemistry that reacts incredibly fast to steroid programs. His transformations between cycling on/off are unreal.

On his first O 1992 Kevin looked by far better than ayates and in 1995 also looked better than Yates

@@KongMotivation 1 or 2 points? Yates had perfect scores. Perfect scores mean every single judge had him winning the show. I'm not sure whether you people are in denial or you just don't know anything about bodybuilding, Yates absolutely destroyed Kevin in 1995. Kevin himself said on record in multiple interviews that when Dorian was on, everybody including Kevin himself knew they were fighting for 2nd. Not once did Kevin complain about his 2nd places to Dorian because he knows Dorian deserved it. Kevin has only complained about 2000 and 2002 because of Ronnie's midsection and the fact that he wasn't that strong those years.

I totally agree that Kevin Levrone was robbed of the Mr.Olympia title! Back in 1995, I started to follow the Mr. Olympia contest and I could never understand why he didn't win since Kevin had one amazing physique! He had the perfect X shape! Wide shoulders, small tight waist, and huge legs....
