That PRS has a wonderful tone - it’s so sweet. The humbuckers are beautifully articulate - not pushing too much, very horn like - just love the sound ! Really took us on an amazing journey toward the end there I was not expecting so many of those phrases that was really cool!
@@axeman2638 that’s true haha. A good instrument I’m sure is more enjoyable but, yeah he’s got some magical hands, he would make a 2x4 sound legendary. 😀
Only a true master of blues guitar like Robben could pull something like this off, the more he played the more I forgot about the rest of the world. Never predictable, so much aching expression, a whole lifetimes experience pours out of those strings. It's blues but it's more than that somehow, love it!
Neat - Lonnie Johnson is something else. A blues guy who blended in an excelled in for crazy long time. From ragtime rev gary style stuff through jump swing, through muddy electric blues and beyond. From a different world
The man could pick up any electric ever made and still reveal his soul. The most interesting blues every time Robben. You’re a genius, man. Thank you for the music!
I am so happy Daniel (R.I.P. Dr. Brains) had a Pollstar magazine for you on the flight to Seattle all those years ago. Thanks for the hospitality at the Gorge. And most importantly, thanks for singing your soul through the strings all these years. Love to you and yours, Robben. I Love it all; no such thing as lost timing…💐👏❤
A ver si nos vamos enterando chavales. Esto es un coche de Rally de 800 HP yendo a 140 por hora en una cómoda autopista. Dominio total del lenguaje del instrumento y del sonido. Un placer, talento y verdad en cada nota.
Usual superbly subtle playing. Great choice of notes. (Small point: Lots of sustain, continuing after change of finger position? Not so sure about that.)
Yes, master, this guitar sings... Your Dumble ? Or the (dumbleoid) Fender in the background... ? First time, that I really like a "Dumble sound", as most guys IMHO take out too much of the high mids, when they play one..
