For those who wanted to know why Level Eight is gone, I'll explain. Level Eight was shutting down and sold the games to DECA Games. The company has small announced to the public for Robbery Bob fans, the worker of company was working to the others but some of them were likely still developing the Sneakquel. In the end. Nowadays, DECA Games never shared information to the fans for Sneakquel's release due to their privacy developing and being awaiting.

Robbery bob was a iconic character in my childhood (and im still a child lmao) I completed all levels in both games. I only just remembered robbery bob and searched it up, when i saw this video, I was happy to know that another game is coming out... Only to find out that the level eight company is gone, and now this is where it ends... goodbye bob. enjoy robbing in a better place...
Level Eight shut down in 2021 and sold the games to DECA Games. As of 2023, DECA Games never shares any information to the fans on Sneakquel's release. It is unknown if the game is still being produced or abandoned after Level Eight's closure.

This game was basically my childhood and I love it so much! It is great tho hear that you guys are adding to an already fantastic series, and I really hope that you guys show how bob can evolve not just as a character, but also a person!!!

Robbery Bob: The Sneakquel (originally named Burgle Buddies) is the upcoming third installment in the Robbery Bob series. According to Level Eight's official website, the sequel is scheduled to be released in 2021, however, it was delayed to 2022 and then to 2023 without even announcing it. The beta version of the game, which was under the aforementioned original title, was released back in 2020 but was removed. The events of the game took place after the events of Robbery Bob 2: Double Trouble in which it features the return of Robbery Bob. In the beta version, the game begins after the events in Hauntington. Level eight developer has been sold to deca games. Plot Bob's adventure carries on; after Halloween, Bob is at a building where he sees a door with a sign saying "Free candy!". When he enters the room, he was unaware that it's a trap and the lights turned off. Confused, Bob traverses through the room and is suddenly put in a seat by one of his old employers and enemies, Sam, who is also known as "The Strange Dealer". Sam decides to test Bob's skills by having him rob 5 houses. Once that's complete, he clears Bob's name. Later, Bob is traveling through the streets of Catsville where he encountered a savage white cat named Lucifurr. When Bob tries to leave, he was stopped by a horde of cats and was then met by another one of his old enemies and employers, Dr. Theivious, who is revealed to be Lucifurr's owner. Bob was then forced to work for the mad scientist once again and he goes on a robbing spree from robbing houses to offices. During his robbing spree, he learns that Dr. Thevious intended to mind-control every cat using his mind-controlling serum in order to create an army to take over the world. Knowing what he must do, Bob began looking for a way to free Lucifurr first, who was also mind-controlled, and then all the cats. After several failed attempts, he soon managed to free Lucifurr from Dr. Thevious' control by giving him pawsteries, a fish treat. Bob then finds a way to stop the mad scientist by sprinkling catnip, which he stole, all over him, causing all the cats to snap out of their mind-controlling and began loving Dr. Thevious too much, causing the scientist to get pounced on by the cats.
Robbery bob deserved more to be a bigger franchise than just any small franchise. Its sad how Level Eight just had shut down and the Robbery Bob Sneakquel was discontinued.

Would be kinda nice to get an update on this game because weirdly enough it’s had a name change and was briefly available on android but not apple and is now gone from android. Even a short video to let us know it’s coming out on all platforms and what name it’s gonna have would be nice

i think it won't come out. even if it did, it won't be the same like the last 2 since the third one is being developed by DECA studios. basically lvl8 shutdown their studio and sold robbery bob 3 to DECA and DECA even though said it'll release in 2022 has never said anything ever since so it's sad to say that the next game won't be coming
I'll say the truth, the first version of robbery bob looked... Idk how to call it, but it pear was strange. In the second version they updated the same concept of bob, a little bit better. And in the lastest version, they made him rounder and more conical, giving him more character. I really like the idea of having multiple faces for the dialogue, can make it look way cooler!
In Robbery Bob, he looked 30. In the second game, he looks 20. And now, he looks like a high schooler. I wonder how much younger he will look in the fourth game😂😘👶

Here it is simplified Deca bought the gaming studio said it was going to be delayed in 2022(RB3) then Deca knowing them didnt do it and never told if it was canceled or what and even if they kept working on it. It wont be like level eights way of making it

This probably something you shouldn’t add to the game, but like does bob ever go home? does he even have one? is there like a pawn shop he turns all his loot in? The point of robbery bob is a puzzle stealth game but does bob even sleep? I miss his 2016 design but i think the change has made him more expressive and marketable.
Do I sleep? yes, because sometimes in the middle of the sleep that slim black-obsessed boi always make me loot stuff.. IF u don't know what I am talking about then there's a mission in robbery bob 2 where bob need to nap.

Since I don't think its original developers are still developing it, I'm scared for its future (Deca_Games' current games aren't very good) Deca_Games did release updates to Robbery Bob 2 and 1, but the Prison chapter they added can only be bought, which is kind of giving me bad vibes. The name "King of Sneak" is terrible, too. I hope they don't give this game a bad reputation as a crappy mobile game.

I don't know if you notice this, but still: The second part has problems that are related to the fact that it is old. I'm talking about the graphics in this game. Yes, I understand that there are literally 3D character sprites on a 2D background, but this is the problem. The characters are surrounded by terrible pixels, and for these almost 7 years, apparently no one cared about this. Now I want to talk about the police in this game. For some reason, in the cut-scenes they are in blue uniforms, but in the game they are .... m .... yellow-desert uniforms. And it infuriates me that sometimes they are simply out of place (there in some house, in a store, dry cleaners, etc.). Why not just add (or create) new models of guards or let's say uh ... such healthy uncles who can give what they deserve to a thief (well, like one in the first part, remember one?). And here I turn to the problem of characters of the same type, which break the logic of what is happening. Why don't you make, say, for each new zone new sprites that are aesthetically suitable (it is desirable that they have at least 3-2 skins). Well, the last one is 2D sprites. Even if you don't feel like drawing them, at least stuff them upscale and improve them. For now, that's all.

For the police and the pixels problem.. your right.. why did in the comics the police shown as blue uniform guy but in game they shown as... a humanoid yellow desert uniforms and for the pixels, yes they must been clean it up.. but we must respects the devs even if the fames have 1.20000 problems
Robbery Bob 3: The Sneakquel, maybe was discontinued because, there is no more informations about the game or other things for the release, i have almost sure the game its discontinued.
I didn't get the game there was a old game of this which is the exact same but with a different name and it's old and you can't get it on the App Store anymore it's called robbery Bob burgle Buddies

Wow! I'm really suprised to see this, i play this when i was 8, so, my childood, but really, too cool... Oh, and don't rush making it! Take your time, 4-5 months maybe? Later? Earlier? Who cares but the only thing that's important is its release. (I love that cartoonish grafic, and even the stairs, that you go up n down, i was waiting that mechanic since robbery Bob 1) Anyways, really cool you continue the SNEAKQUEL! 🏃🏻♂️👮♂️

Imagine in the future, where we don't expect to see this sneakquel and get distracted by other stuff but all of a sudden the game releases. (like Deltarune chapter 2)
It's really cool. I've grown up with this game and i love every version of it. I love what youve done with the game. I just wish you add more like multiplayer or a map maker or daily challenges or like an event heists. Looking forward to the game tho.
