Rest In Peace Robbie Coltrane. Single handedly created a massive part of my childhood, I will never forget how life was so much simpler when the Harry Potter movies were still ongoing. Hope you find comfort and unconditional love in the afterlife. RIP💔

Yes, he did! Since Robbie was JK Rowling's first choice to play Hagrid, she knew exactly who the right actor for the half-giant would be. :)

We theoretically use the metric system. I have a wholly metric temperature sense, can estimate distances to walk in metres with ease, but can only do heights in feet and inches. This is both common and normal. We are a complex people.

They made him look so big by using ex England rugby player Martin Bayfield as a double in certain scenes. Martin actually played a young Hagrid in chamber of secrets.
