Loved the Band ..man I’m 69 and played in clubs in 70 ‘s 80’s 90’s life is a breath ..all the guys are getting to the vulnerable ages ..so 1day at a time enjoy small things now..RIP Robbie Robertson

Tough year for Canada with the loss of Gordon Lightfoot and now Robbie Robertson. Robbie would have appreciated Norm singing and performing in his memory.

What a classy tribute. I interviewed Robbie Robertson in 1989 for a Global Satellite network radio special on the Last Waltz. A true gentleman to me and generous with his time and memories of the Band's final show.

Dear Norm, thank you for your heartfelt tribute. I’m still weeping every day periodically when the thought of Robbie comes up. Hubby & I both cried hard upon the news. We just also watched an interview where Robbie named you when talking about modifying his fender. He loved you too & would never be shy about saying so! ❤ He was a rare gem both musically & humanly. He had such reverence in his spirit & it showed with his family & all his music. Hang in here with us Norm, we still need you for a long time. You are a rare gem also & I too think you belong into the R&R Hall of Fame! Deepest condolences to Dominque, Sebastian & the Robertson daughters. RIP Robbie! Thank you for all you gave the world so freely!

I got to see the opening of the Last Waltz in a beautiful, old theater in Oakland, Ca. It was a never to forget experience, that I will hold as a important moment of my life. I am so greatful that you made this memorial of Robbie for all of us to see.

So good to know that Robbie was as good a person as he was a musician- we send our blessings to Robbie’s family and all who called him a friend.

Through the last 10 years, since Levon's death, I've always thought it was great that Robbie was still here on this earth because I like holding on to childhood memories and icons from that time. His passing is one more reminder to appreciate the life, and days, you have and thank God for what he does give us - personally and through musicians as talented as Robbie truly was.

I feel like I m in the family here!! The more I hang around, the closer it becomes. Our "Generation " is really connected thru the 🎶🎵🎶!! Norm and Robbie, 2 Fantastic Gentlemen... see you round!!..🎵🎶🎵🤙🤙🤙

Robbie Robertson released a solo album in the 80s and it kept me going. I live in Australia and I turned on the tv to have breakfast and they announced breaking news of his passing. I was saddened and yet live thousands of miles from you Norm. A truly incredible beautiful tribute Norm for a truly incredible man.🙏🙏🖐

That was a very emotional tribute to one of my favourite players. I was just a kid learning to play in small town Ontario when some older players in the local guitar store started talking about this incredible player in Toronto called Robbie Robertson. Unfortunately I never was able to get to an actual performance but I loved his work with The Band and after.

With each passing of the people whose artistry and genius sustained the "Music Industry" throughout the decades, the glaring stark reality of the abysmal cesspool into which the present "Industry" has devolved is heartbreaking!

Thank you Norm, and thank you Robbie. Saw the Band, the Grateful Dead, and the Alman Brothers in 1971 at Watkins Glenn. 600,000 in the audience! Won't ever forget that show. Was just looking at the Martin Journal of Acoustic Guitars, 2022. There was an article about Robbie and his son. In it Robbie talks about his 0045K which he got from Norm. He said, " On the 0045K, I didn't realize at the time when I got this guitar (1975) from Norman Harris ( owner of the California vintage guitar store Norm's Rare Guitars) that it was one of a kind. I don't think he realized it either or he would have charged me more." LOL. Did you know Norm? I bought a beautiful L5C acoustic from Norm in the 80's. Great guitar and great price $1,100. Thanks Norm. Norm's old bandmate Dan is a close friend of Norm. He is a friend of mine and I've bought many wonderful guitars from him over the past 30 years, some of which I still have and play. He got Norm to sign his two fantastic books for me. Thanks Dan and Norm. Recently, Dan had a beautiful Koa Martin signed by Robbie Robertson. Foolishly I didn't buy it. Thanks for the memories; music, guitars, and good energy. All the best. 😢

Thank You Norm! I met Dennis Valentine in like '74 or '75, shortly after I met you. I always think of him as one of the "good guys." In the same breath I think of Ron Lira, Steve Soost, Charlie Gertner, Jeff Miles, and so many others. Sorry to hear about the loss of your very dear friend, Norm. I wish all of those people who loved Robbie peace and strength during this tough time. Robbie is fine now, and I'm sure that he would want everyone to move on with their lives and go out and enjoy the day. With every ending there's a new beginning.
