I love Robbie. He was influential to me as an artist and watching his documentary brought back so many childhood memories. Although he got (and continues to get) a lot of unjustified hate, he is one of the UK’s most iconic musicians.
Not hated by the people - look at how many people went to his shows. He just got a rough time from the UK media as it sold papers which is NOT representative of the public.
@@dh7314 I think that was his stage persona. He acted like that just to feel confidence. If you watch the documentary, he looks very sensitive and shy. So diferent from what I was expecting. I always liked him, but I was very surprised with that side of his personality, in a good way! ♥️
Wow, what a fantastic powerful documentary 👏 it had me in tears it was such an emotional roller coaster seeing someone breakdown like that. So happy he's in a good place now
watched his doc last night and i just couldn't understand how this man filled entire stadiums in so many countries but was hated by his own. i have so much respect for him. watching him watching himself having a panic attack was heatrbreaking.
I watched all four episodes of your documentry this weekend and was really touched by it! It's amazing what we go through when we go from zero to 75 in a matter of seconds! One day you're just yourself and the next day you're "Famous" which tends to be hard on so many people because you lose your privacty and your identity all at once! The Paparazzi will do anything for a story because you make them money! I'm so glad you found peace in your music! Blessings and love to you and your beautiful family!! Family is everything at the end of the day! The rest comes and goes!
I'm from Perú, i was surprised he wasn't that famous in USA, at least in my country he was a top class artist. I was shock he had panic attacks before his performance, cause he's been a great showman and talented musician. Love him ❤
I thought this show was just amazing, Robbies music I will always love it, the song Feel is my favorite. So many things I learned about this man and had no idea just how bad things had gotten in his life, but to see him face his demons by watching himself in all of that footage took great courage and to see it be therapeutic for him and get it all out in the open he looks great and so much happier now, I am happy to see him doing very well now. Congrats on the documentary Robbie, you have come a long way. Your an amazing soul. Cheers!
I remember seeing Robbie on one of the USA awards shows as a musical guest. It was late 90’s or early 2000,s. I thought he was very talented but no one in the US had heard of him and it was difficult to find his music in stores.
I love him, so handsome, great eyes and smile but also tender heart , very kind and deep! I have goosebumps and few little tears every time I hear "Angels"...that song and his interpretation is so powerful, I truly enjoyed the Netflix documentary ❤
Loved this video and the documentary! What a mastepiece! Rob's life had so many ups and downs. You captured them well. My heart broke to see him breaks. As a fan of Robbie I would have loved to have 4 more season 😅 so Netflix - pls do make more 🙌🏽❤ ROBBIE WILLIAMS KING OF POP 👑 Seen him twice this tour (XXV) and met him ❤ such an amazing human he is ❤
I Watched it all and I can say Robbie is finally happy in his own self .it is the love he finally got by his wife and have children also Robbie just a sensitive guy we Aquarians are to words and hurt we care just do the same back and we it all to you from out big soft heart I like to personally meet Robbie and give him a big warm hug !!
I have watched and listened to the Knebworth concert for over 20 years. It's just magic. And the Netlfix document about Robbie gave me an amazing perspective.
Hey I saw him on concert maybe 15- 18 years ago. He was with a friend on the stage and constantly joking, sharing stories, gags. It was HILARIOUS!!! True blood comedian
Brilliant documentary! Absolutely blown away. It's like he's let us into his soul, showing how fame really messes with your mind. Never seen anything this real and raw from a celeb before. Plus, the style is stunning! It's more than just a celeb story, it's a deep dive into the psyche.
This is so weird to watch :) I feel like Take That were my generation's One Direction. I had all their albums on cassette tape and with Robbie being "my favourite," I remember being devastated when he left the band. This kinda brought back memories of 10-year-old me...
Yeah, Born Slippy by Underworld!! One of my favorites too, especially with the volume up 🙂 Great documentary, made me emotional, Robbie has had a hard life but so good to know he has a fine home with Ayda and his four children. Hope he doesn't feel lonely anymore and has found some peace of mind.
Finished the doc yesterday. Great job! I found it to be honest. I wonder if you’ve reached out to Lewis Capaldi who was reported to be going thru debilitating anxiety even though he, like you, loves to sing and entertain. 💕
As an American, I wasn't very familiar with Robbie. But had heard a couple of songs and thought his documentary was so good. Big loss for us in the States that he was kept from us.
He left all of the ones who helped him get to the top (take that, Guy, etc). Then returned to them, after many years, as he was mature enough to realize the situation that unfolded in the past. A little to late, but better than never.
and face skin colour, not great too, to me at least ... but maybe are just impressions...he's doing shows and anyway showed resilience in his life, so hopefully nothing serious eventually
Does anyone know the band name or artist for the New York City track playing on tour when travelling between gigs? Robbie was saying he bought it in 1991 when it was released.
Robbie’s made a few comments here and there about take that recently making me feel his relationship with Gary is not the best these days… changing the script of his biopic, this getting sued quip, not having talked to Gaz in a year…
I think the comment about getting sued could likely be more about Nigel than Gary. Gary is not going to sue Robbie at this point, they just seem neutral. I don't think that Gary was comfortable with the 'bad' stuff being rehashed again, but I also think that it was definitely good that he did discuss it again. Near the end of the documentary they show a photo of him and Gary from their time making the 'Shame' music video. I'd like to think that was Robbie's way of throwing a nugget in that he is more fond of their time hanging from 2008-present.
Personally the split didnt last, they were on good terms again by 2006. Theyd tried to write together in 2008 but it didnt work. Still it maybe never had to happen
Amo Feel e a música do Elvis.... Pena que tinha tanto dinheiro e não ajudou os animais e pessoas idosas... Se vc faz o bem 🙏🏻 vc recebe o bem...vcs ficam milhonarios e não ajudam uma instituição....
As much as I want to still like Robbie, I just can't, some pretty poignant truths have been left out of the documentary, the main one being the fact that Angels was originally inspired and taken from a great musician called Ray Heffernan that Robbie met on a night out? It would of been classy had he mentioned this. The ego is clearly still too big to fully open up and be completely honest. Without that song, you may never have had the success.
I have to be honest, I really don’t understand why he comments on his one history in his underwear in his bed. Is this supposed to be Rock’n’Roll? I thought it cringe-worthy.
