My favorite of many great cameos in this movie. Hadn't heard, or heard of him until De-lovely. Like his original recordings but I really appreciate how he embraces and puts his own energetic spin on great composers and performers who came before.
Same here. I really hadn’t heard of him til I saw the film. I walked from the theater to the record store and bought the soundtrack. My favorite track, too!
Robbie Williams does this song better than anyone! And he is so entertaining to watch. His performances with is Dad are excellent! He's hilarious on Graham Norton! So glad this was posted here.
The musical was Gershwin and Cole Porter , is an imperishable heritage. The animosity of letters, romantic and sweet enamoradores music and rhythms , unique and proverbial way , the hard way can be recapitulated . This is to me, one of the more structured and unique versions . Robbie Williams is an artist, and voice solemnity scenario is irreplaceable. Grégory Alfonso García Morán , MD
What a pleasure.... Salams to you Cole Porter. You were a genius. Wish I had the resources to visit your grave to thank you for marvellous work you left us
really lovely song ❤ just reading your book 'feel' right now and reading the chapter of which it took you so much hard work to learn the lyrics - you are an amazing performer. incredible.
I remember once changing the channels and really bored and I saw this movie so I stopped to see what it was about and I was there for like 5 minutes and I got bored and changed it... Next day bored in RU-vid I saw this video and I was like ¬¬ damn! I missed Robbie Williams! since then I haven't found it again xd but one day I'll see it !! xD
Robbie Williams is so over the top with his performance - he plays it like Frank Sinatra when he should be singing like Al Bowlly - he didn’t have a clue, which is sad! 😢
I don’t know who this is but I’m afraid I cannot join everybody in their praise. Just my opinion but I find this performance very gimmicky and insincere. Ego check: It’s as if he’s trying to distract us from the storyline instead of blending into it.
