Yeah that quote is funny...I also loved the sweet tone you can hear in Rob's voice more than one time...and the fact that every time Rob said something really sweet ...Gary got embarrassed, without words anymore...you see, exactly in those cases, he just whispered "ok"... instead of "thanks, mate" or something funny...

I reckon you meant to Marcus...honestly I hear Miss (I've heard Rob saying "mate" a thousand times throughout these 21 years - I've started following him in 1992, not in 1990) and it's not the first time he goes like that with gay guys.. it's common..the key point is it would be considered rude or offensive if a straight guy said that to a gay one, while it's not if they are two bi or gay people.
Also cant help myself but posting this part from the interview: what about Howard, Jason and Mark - they must get heartily sick of "The Robbie and Gary Show"? Barlow nods: "They're totally sick of it. It's all Rob and I ever talk about: 'When we were falling out…' They're like: not this story again! But I think they were relieved that it ended.

Also mentioning about the games.. i just googled the songs including the theme of -our star- and found a funny result.
