Look, I've been into rock and metal my whole life, was raised on Prince, Nirvana, Green Day, Busted, Iron Maiden, all sides of rock So, as a lifelong Rock fan, I think I'm allowed to say that this is a Rock classic
This would work very well as a rock song! Nirvana, Green Day and Iron Maiden are Rock, Busted are kind of Rock like the Offspring now but when Busted first came out they watered down and to some were known as one of the Boybands with Guitars like Mcfly, who were a little bit heavyish for a bit with songs like "Here's another song for the Radio" later on Busted were rocking out their hits like What I Go To School For and other songs like The Offspring in Comparison when they first came out, proving what great Rock songs they made, even though the songs were watered down at first to appeal to 13 and under Teenage Girls but were still the kind of tunes and songs that worked as Rock songs and Appeal to Adults to, certain songs by Robbie Williams such as this work Awesome as Rock and are kind of Middle of the Road meets Rock meets Pop and this is has more Rock Edge then Busted when they first came out, and Busted got more Edgy in 2016 when they got back together! :~)
@@adrianaraujo6593 "this is pop I guess" so were the Beatles, led zeppelin, acdc, van Halen, Bon Jovi and black Sabbath. Biggest rock icons I could think of🤷♂️
@@matocian_empire8 Just to add on the Rolling Stones, very pop and very much rock. Pop music is whatever was POPular at the time. Quite frankly it's a meaningfully meaningless term.
I remember dancing without a care in the world to this song while I was at primary school - my teacher would play music while we ate our lunch waiting for the bell to ring so we could go into the playground to play. (I was roughly 10 years old), it's definitely been a while since I've heard it. Still a great song! I turned 29 last week, and still love this song!
I've always felt that Kiss did this song first but it appears that they didn't. Maybe I've experienced a glitch in the the 'Matrix'? I'm a 50 something and I still like this song a lot. Maybe my meds need increasing? 😂
The fact that Robbie tried to do an "Ozzy" in the few first seconds by making it look he was gonna bite the Dove's head off and dressed throughtout the rest of the video like he wants to be in KISS kinda earns my respect as a Metalhead! Fair play Robbie, Fair play
Robbie has one of the best music videos on the world. Whenever he finds a topic to his clip, he becomes the person he plays in 100%. Of course always adding a piece from himself usually as a joke. This video is based on Kiss band but Robbie's dance is modern and don't remind moves from 70's or 80's. Thats the joke and thats the fun. I'm not his fan as an musician but always appreciate his music videos. They are simply complete to me. Now I understand that bunch of guys inside of him :)
I must say i don't usually like many Robbie Williams songs (despite loving some of the classics)...but this one!..oh boy!..This will forever remain one of the best songs i've ever listened to!
One of the greatest rock records ever made by a British pop idol. If you can't strut your stuff to this song whenever it's played, you're probably dead.
LOL! Maybe you should watch some videos from the 70s and 80s....... if you don't know where or what, like the previous comment said; KISS and Queen. I would also recommend David Bowie
Hell is gone and heaven's here There's nothing left for you to fear Shake your arse come over here Now scream I'm a burning effigy Of everything I used to be You're my rock of empathy, my dear So come on let me entertain you Let me entertain you Life's too short for you to die So grab yourself an alibi Heaven knows your mother lied Mon cher Separate your right from wrongs Come and sing a different song The kettle's on so don't be long Mon cher So come on let me entertain you Let me entertain you Look me up in the yellow pages I will be your rock of ages Your see through fads and your crazy phrases yeah Little Bo Peep has lost his sheep He popped a pill and fell asleep The dew is wet but the grass is sweet, my dear Your mind gets burned with the habits you've learned But we're the generation that's got to be heard You're tired of your teachers and your school's a drag You're not going to end up like your mum and dad So come on let me entertain you Let me entertain you Let me entertain you He may be good he may be outta sight But he can't be here so come around tonight Here is the place where the feeling grows You gotta get high before you taste the lows So come on Let me entertain you Let me entertain you (let me entertain you) So come on let me entertain you (let me entertain you) Let me entertain you (let me entertain you) Come on come on come on come on Come on come on come on come on Come on come on come on come on Come on come on come on come on Come on come on come on come on Come on come on come on come on Let me entertain you Let me entertain you Let me entertain you Let me entertain you Let me entertain you Let me entertain you Let me entertain you Let me entertain you
Después de casi 20 años por fin supe cómo se llamaba este temazo que encontré en un vídeo juego de fútbol en un cereal... Actua Soccer...he vuelto a mi niñez, que genialidad!!
No lo puedo creer, yo tambien recuerdo esta canción por el videojuego de futbol de la caja de cereal, recuerdo que aparecian jugadores de los 90s como Rivaldo, Jorge Campos, Owen, Treseguer. Mi primer videojuego a computadora.🤩
This is random as fuck but I had a dream & this was playing in the background. I totally forgot about this brilliant song. You don't get music like this anymore
You wanna' get specific? alrighty man... Robbie's first record was actually britpop, which is part of the rock n' roll movement. This is actually a rock song, beyond anything else you may think anyway.
This song never gets older.. Never! Robbie Williams, I Love You since 1990 and now, I love You moreeee. Thanks for entertain us for so, so many years. The Best Show Man of all Times.. and ever in this Entire World. Muaaaaaak. Happy Belated Birthday. ❤😍
i love how almost everyone here are fanyus lol i absolutely loved his program. apparently him and jeffrey were contemplating on another classical piano piece but this was a great decision. king of rock indeed
I love you RW❤😊
I can agree with this, I've been to a lot of gigs but the best will always be seeing Robbie Williams tour, I saw him at Milton Keynes Bowl and it was incredible he interacts with his audience so much I can't fault him as an entertainer.
If it was released tomorrow and nobody never herd it before it probably would get many views, it’s because 10year olds rake up the most views and they just watch whatever relevant at the time
