Holy shit I didnt realise it had been 19 years since he last had a drink. Im so proud of him. Also Ayda had alot to do with it, as well as Elton. I also love how Elton is like the sober big brother helping so many people to get sober. I also didnt realise he was sober at Knebworth either.

These 2 both had hard partying alcohol problems. Things they could be loved & hated for. Am so pleased they have found their best sober lives. I have given up booze for medical reasons & realised for mental health i shuda done it sooner! Each to their own of course 🎉I binge watched the Netflix series & it moved me, feel i know Robbie a lil bit better 😌

I’m American but have always been more into UK pop/rock. Robbie has it all - seriously talented artist, smart as hell, charming and great looking. Never understood why he wasn’t able to break into the US market; at his peak in the late 90’s/early 00’s, he was one of the biggest names in British pop who released one quality hit single after another. I wasn’t aware he’d recently done a Netflix docuseries until reading some other comments. Glad he’s finally getting some recognition from the US.

Never heard of him until the Netflix special and I am the same age! I did hear his big 3 songs back in the 90’s but he never toured here so out of mind. I’d go to London or Brisbane now to see him!

I had never heard of Robbie Williams until I watched the Netflix docuseries on him. Am really surprised he never made it here in the USA, not for lack of trying. He has some really good songs!

It does him credit that he recorded 'Angels' while he was in the turmoil of addiction and that he delayed his rehab just for it That song probably saved his career, and the recording was excellent

I never liked the guy...obvisouly judging him on the way he presented himself when he was all over the TV, but the recent documentary of him had me in tears, it's amazing how our opinions are formed of folk when we think we've seen the entire person through media

"Back in the day" I (sorry to name-drop here) took care of Oasis after a concert in Kobe, japan and it was right around the time that the first "round" of this Robbie v Liam thing was going on. I asked him what it was all about and he said that there'd been an "offer of 250,000 quid, but I'd smash his face in for nothing". Quite a unique memory! It's still going on, is it?!
