Disagree. Robbie achieved more success as a solo artist, made better albums, singles, videos etc as solo artist than he did with Take That. Matter of fact it's because of Robbies solo career many discovered later about Take That existence. So no. No one needs to thank Gary. Besides that Gary is a good songwriter and singer. My personal favorite is Robbie since the beginning of his solo career.

At least they are all friends again and that is what matters! I think they have really matured a lot over the years both in attitude and musical style. Also Robbie and Gary Barlow co wrote the hit song Candy in 2012.

I agree! When rhe others used to go out partying, Gary was always working for the band and Gary was the brains and voice of the band! I don't get shocked that Robbie badmouth Gary because that's all he did when they were teens, but Howard was Gary's bff, so it's like a betrayal!

I agree, it looks like that & in other clips too. I don't wanna play the "blame game" as only the five of them will truly know what truly happened. I did get sad when I watched carpool kareoke w/ James Corden, Howard, Markie & Gary, when Howard said that they could get on without him, if he left. I thought that was soooo sad. Howard is grand. Markie did say something great about Howard right after that, but it seems like, no matter how successful they ALL are, they still have self-doubt, confidence issues, get hurt...ya know, just like the rest of us. They all seem like great peeps.

@@piasofielotussommer actually Robbie himself talked about his addiction to cocaine in later years. He said that the woman who is currently his wife and mother of his kids (I think he has two if I am not mistaken) basically saved him. He is clean now.

Gary is just boring despite being a very talented songwriter. You have to have charisma on stage like Robbie has which Gary kind of lacks.

Plus it was Gary who basically wrote all the songs! And I loved his solo albums. Went also to his concert back in 1998. It was simply amazing. I remember he had a white piano, and he was dressed up all in black with a see through t-shirt. He sat down and started singing Forever Love. I was right under the stage... It was truly one of the best moments of my life. Pure joy.

They both needed each other. In Europe they were able to play stadiums for the first time because they had Robbie with them. In Italy their biggest show previous had been a 20,000 capacity arena, on the Progress tour with Robbie on board they sold out the San Siro..

Not that simple. Garys voice is excellent and functional but Robbie's voice has more life to it and is more suited to certain songs ... not just "could it be magic"!

Guys GB And RW get on really well now. Past is history. Borh learned lessons. Both are talented on they own ways. We are entlitled to have our own preferences though. I prefer Gary for a lot reasons, being one of them his genuine passion for music either singing or writing it. Well done Gary!! You went dow into madness and came out stronger. Somehow actually you both fought your inner monsters and ended victorious. God bless you both.

Jibbyf Robbie is the greatest showman, Gary is the most talented songwriter, musician and singer.

I think Gary is waaay more talented and passionated about music...and so the greatest man ever, so humble and down to earth....i have learnt some life lessons with his history

Gary Barlow is more talented in my opinion, he sings and writes music. Robbie doesn’t write songs. Robbie’s bigger sells were more about scandals. Gary was a family guy which most people consider boring. I’m a team Gary all the way
