We're coming down from Canada to support Y'all. Bless you for this video and taking time to update everyone! If you are open for business we will support you!
Thanks for the update ! We plan to be there next week for a classic Honda on the dragon. We always visit the cowboy store and buy some merch. So good to see that things look well in Robbinsville. I appreciate you doing this video.
Thank you Daryl. I don't understand people's obsession with milk. Just like the toilet paper during the coronavirus. Neither milk nor toilet paper are necessary to sustain life, so why do they get hyper focused on that one thing?
Thank U so much for the update. My wife & I live n Ky & we’re n ur area several times a yr. We are so heartbroken on what we r seeing.Several Motorcycle groups n Ky r collecting supplies & volunteering n anyway they can. Thanks for all ur doing it’s literally going to take all of us to help those n need 👍👍
Thanks as always for all you do for locals and the rest of us, Darryl. It had been so dry the entire time we were there, we saw forest fires starting the day after we got home. Then this mess with all the hurricane. Happy to see you're safe.
Appreciate the update! Myself & small car family will be up there at the end of Oct. no matter what. Whether it's to have fun or just contribute to the local economy, def not canceling the trip.
Appreciate the update. Headed there from Tampa next week. Had 2nd thoughts with all the devastation east of you but also know this will help the folks in Robbinsville / Tapoco and happy to contribute to the economy there and alleviate some of the impact to business in the area.
Thanks for the update ! I got notice of this video last night when my internet came back up. I was in the van in front of you on 129 when you were headed into town yesterday to make this video. I was up by Bear Creek getting a weak signal, but strong enough to get some texts out.
Thanks for this! The media is scaring the stink out of everyone, which is going to leave the areas that need tourism and support wanting. Nobody should go to the areas trying to recover. But if Robinsville is "open for business" I am sure they would love us to visit.
@@cgaralis Exactly, we are not Asheville! Come through or not, we will be fine, but these other businesses in the area do need the ongoing support of the visitors to stay in business. Their livelihood matters too!
Oh man, when people hoard supplies they make it into a bigger crisis. When stores up their prices they hurt local people. I was living in a major city that the lower areas, which was mostly inner city, flooded to the roof-tops of any 1.5 story bungalow. Shameless people that were not affected in the higher areas immediately started scooping supplies and selling them online for up to 5= times the cost. A large number of convenience stores over-priced any possible supply. People got tired of the scammers and started calling out the stores that were gouging and basically started a list of stores to boycott as well as store that were not inflating prices. In a city of a million people you certainly don't want to be a boycott store. It was just sad all over. BTW Darryl, keep up the great work!
Thank you so much. My family The Burchfields , Farleys , Lynn's on Mom's side all grew up there and many still live there. I'm in Florida and can't get anybody on the phone. Thank you so much for the information on the WiFi and cell towers. Ralph , Robert (Dub) Burchfield was my uncle and my mom was Betty ( Bid) . Pearl McGill was my eldest aunt. Foielee ( Robbie or Doll) was my other Aunt . If you know any of this part of my family Im so grateful for you to letting me know anything.
yeah insane how some unless she freezes it or runs a business i dont see her drinking and using all of that such a waste and sad how some ppl get. I can see getting 2-4 depending the size of the family but dang...yeah even here on the other side of the tn. river not much at all. So sad the situation up north by about an hour though.. stay safe out and about.
