Robbie Knievel celebrated sobriety by performing a ramp-to-ramp motorcycle jump in Palm Springs California, as part of the Spa Resort Casino's Brews and BBQ Festival. This 30 yard jump was over the ever present line up of golf carts, fitting for Palm Springs.
Unfortunately due to the tight venue he had a hard stop against the hay bales at the far end of his landing point.
Luckily he was able to get up and walk away (like all old pilots used to say, any landing you can walk away from is a good one!).
