It was very weird. something did happen, and after thinking more deep in the past weeks, I have now something in my head which of course can be wrong, its just a thought. It would explain at least a scenario which would make that all more logical: Robby and the others did ran after Tory shortly after, but couldnt find her because she was kidnapped after leaving Miyagi-Do. Cobra Kai needed her since they didnt have a strong female fighter, so Kreese and Kim Da-eun had two plans: Plan A: Kreese asks Tory to join them and convince her she comes back. Plan B: If she refuses, the gonny take her with force, kidnap her. And we saw plan A didnt work out, she said no to Kreese. And then I think Daeun decided to use plan B without Kreese knowing about it. I know it sounds very dark, but my theory/thought is this: Daeun knew Tory has two weaknesses: 1) Her mother Grace (in a deleted scene, Tory told Daeun about her mom, and Daeun reacted ice-cold). 2) Her boyfriend Robby. By killing Torys mother Grace, Daeun removed weakness nr. 1. And before people say Grace died on natural causes: Robert Mark Kamen also wrote "Kiss of the Dragon" in 2001, starring Jet Li and Bridget Fonda. And this name has nothing to do with a kiss or a dragon, its a killing technique which leds all the blood goes op to the brain, never comes down again, and the victim dies painfully, the blood comes out of eyes, nose, ears and mouth. And maybe The Way Of The Fist is like Kiss of the Dragon such a technique, which leads to aneursyma and blood clots, and the victim dies in a cramp and clinches its fist. With killing her mother Grace, Daeun could also give Tory the ultimate punishment for betraying her in season 5. By kidnapping Tory, knocking her out, and injecting her that snake venom, which kills all positive emotions and feelings, Daeun removed weakness nr 2. I dont say it will be that way! I am absolute no fan of such magical things, but Robert Mark Kamen is, he is the founder of "The Karate Kid" franchise and created all characters. And the "Cobra Kai" writers are in close contact with him. This white snake with Kreese was already a mystical thing. After he got bitten, he got ice-cold and for the first time was able to kill Johnny in his dream. So I wouldnt be surprised if Tory didnt even join C.K. at her own wish, but was ambushed, knocked out and injecte with that venom. If this realy should be the case, it would mean she will be very dangerous in part 2. Her feelings for Robby will be gone, but also her friendship with Samantha. And it will be very difficult for Robby and Sam to get through her. In the end of episode 5 she looks emptly, like numb, and in the bar in part 2 she looks ice-cold.
