Robert Alter, The Psalms as Literature 

It is a blessing that such a talented man graced with the gifts of God would apply his industry to a new and innovative translation of the Hebrew Bible. I thank God for his hard work, and gifts to the Church and all of Man. I pray that Robert Alter is filled with the Holy Spirit, for I fear he does not view Scripture as inspired. God bless this child of God, who has given so much to the believing world in the 21st century.
