The book says, in summary, warrior's ways of the past and the lived virtues have not been passed from generation to generation. And not tempered for practical usage today. That a man's natural growth has been stifled by woke madness. The free man harbours no blame or shame and endures his pain, then this becomes his strength.
It says nothing of wokeness it speaks of men not stepping up to mentor the young men and women trying and failing because they are not capable. It speaks of the warriors courage and fierceness; but it also speaks of their kindness and display. It also speaks of the king both the glorious king and the tyranical king as well of the queen the kind queen and the murderous queen. It also speaks of the wild man who him self has a journey to make....you may need to learn a little more and maybe you should reread or relisten. I say this because I own the book and have read it multiple times as I have also listen to all 4 parts of this on RU-vid multiple times. Also the book really isn't up for interruption considering it is being read by the author Robert Bly.
