I've always found Chu's output on wing chun really interesting. I read an article a couple of years ago he wrote and where he makes the comment 'simply applying parts of modern biomechanics to what is in a history book, does not make for a complete system', or something to that effect. I always pondered whether it was Hendrik Santo he was referring to or not by that line.

What a fantastic interview and a fascinating, genuine, humble person. Robert really comes across as that "complete man". I wish you had dug a little deeper on some of his replies, I could listen to him talk for hours!
Hi Mark. What a great an in-depth interview with Robert Chu. Very informative and educational. I liked the different variety of questions you asked him regarding WC and the different lineages along with Robert’s advice to all the listeners at the end of the podcast! It was very “Wing Chun”. And thank you for the large volume of literary works that you have contributed to the martial arts community as a whole over many years. Keep up the good work! 🙏🏼
Thank you, Robert. I appreciate the kind words and the interest and appreciation. Please have a listen to the other podcasts and subscribe to my RU-vid channel and share videos of interest.
