The comment which Robert DeNiro made about keeping you're hands on the steering wheel when stopped hit home with me. I am a white Canadian. I was stopped 30 years ago by a police officer on a motorcycle in Virginia Beach for speeding. My wife and I were going back to our hotel after spending the day at the beach. My wallet was under my seat, I still remember to this day how scarred I was. The officer was standing to the side with his hand on his gun. We had Ontario plates but still, I told him my wallet was under my seat because we were at the beach. Everything turned out well, he let me off with a warning. But still it was an unpleasant moment, I can't even imagine what it feels like to be black and put into that situation. Very upsetting, hope things change for the better soon.

I AGREE Hedy Mills, 1 of the 1st things I learned as a Mental Health Professional is that there are certain topics that are sensitive topics such as politics, income, religion, sexual identity, weight, etc. these topics can result in arguments depending on the audience.

Yes, and a lot of them were liberal when they were young and their brains have gotten narrower as they aged. I have two friends like that. One is a woman who calls herself an artist (literally every painting and egg-shell sculpture she creates has HER features and it's her face) and she loved to hang out with gay guys as friends even though she didn't "approve" of our so called promiscuity. Then, when we won the right to get legally married, she did not approve of that nor gay parenting either so that told me all I needed to know about her. Bye Felicia.. The other was an Italian ex, an intelligent and interesting man who sometimes railed against "Hollywood Jews". I thought that was weird as he had moved to L.A. from NYC to try to make it in the movie industry with his screenplays. He didn't succeed and ended up moving back to NYC and is now a pro-Trumper. Did I mention he used some of my music in a play he did in NYC but did not ask me for permission first? These people are just turning conservative and pro-Trump because they are getting phucking OLD.

It´s really nice to see Mr. DeNiro express himself about important issues...some say he´s a bad interview....meaning he does not talk much...well; that might be true, and that is for the rest of all of us to accept and respect...and for me, i prefer someone like that instead of someone who talks a lot without saying anything...Now as a European i couldn't vote for him, but i would love to have a beer with him and chat about god and the world for a couple of hours...Now I am from Iceland, and i always wondered why the "Asians" were wearing masks in Iceland, where you have one of the cleanest air in the world... But as Sir "Bob" said...It is not just about them, it´s also about the others....and that we have to respect...why not take part and do everything necessary and possible to help each other trough this??? Americans, Asians, Africans, Europeans and Australians... Let´s all just play along, stick together and finish this...Let us all together end this once and for all...And just one last word; It would have broken my heart if I had to wach Robert DeNiro as Jake LaMotta in the ring wearing a MASK....Jim Carrey OK, but not Sir Bob...😉😉
