The official name of this "corruption" is the US Constitution. Presidential elections are set up by the Constitution as 50 individual state elections instead of one nationwide Presidential election. The way it is now leaves lots of wiggle room for back door deals between the states, and also leaves individual states vulnerable to national advertising campaigns. Congress needs to draft some Federal Election laws enabling 3rd parties to run and fining major parties for any action preventing free voting and candidate hindrances in Federal Primaries and Elections. The fines should be in the hundreds of $ millions with the people involved facing long, mandatory jail sentences and the same fines. This suggestion would work.
