This is a rare statement of the singing performer of the famous heavy metal band "Judas Priest" exposing his sexuality on Mtv. It happened to record it on my VCR by luck as I was watching TV around the years 1997-1999.
For some fans it's very sad to watch the "Metal God" admit personal feelings like this and encourage other people not to be afraid and hold them back. A big RESPECT to Rob!
He really got "balls".. even if it's been sucked by other men :p

I love his compassion for the young person who has not felt comfortable coming out yet. And his advice that the people who should seek help are those whose homophobia keeps them separated from the gay people who are living their lives freely. Don’t let hate be the thing that separates you from others.

The same way a child going "that's yucky (disgusting)" is potentially foolish. But anyone with a brain knows that in actuality, the child isn't foolish even when being disgusted by something that isnt harmful because they know no better. That's why we tend not to call children foolish, but instead adults...

@@bigblackjeffery842Rob needed to set the record straight for his own sobriety as he was kind of forced to stay in the closet for years when Rob was in the spotlight being in JP because if he didn't Rob would've faced a relapse back into substances while I'm straight I know because I've been there. Sober since 1990.
