Hero is an overused word, but as a 40-something year old australian, if asked who my heroes are Steve Irwin and my dad would top the list. Ill never forget when it came on the radio here that he'd died - we pulled the car over to the side of the road and couldnt believe it. Just silence, we checked it wasnt April 1st, then my wife started crying. If there were 100 steve irwins' no animal would ever go extinct anywhere. Ever. Unfortunately, there isnt. There was only one. Steve Irwin was one of the greatest men that ever lived, and this kid would be making him extremely proud.

There's definitely a direct correlation between kindness and the love of animals. I've noticed this too on channels like The Dodo.

@@SnackPatrol I agree. The cuteness and love for animals does tend to bring people together. I've noticed a lot of the time on Dodo's Fb though that there's a lot of arguing and everyone seems to think think they're an expert lol. I feel like there's something about fb that sadly brings out the ugliness in people 😂😅.. I see more fights on fb over animals than I do on political videos on RU-vid lol. Weird.

I'm from Australia myself & actually got to meet Robert, Bindi & Terri on a trip to their zoo & they are every bit as "real" in real life as they are on TV 🇦🇺😂👍🇦🇺 Steve (RIP mate!!!) would be so proud of the work his family are continuing to do. Anyone coming to Australia who loves animals would DEFINITELY need to add Australia Zoo (the Irwins' home) to their "must visit/see" lists for a visit Down Under 👍👍👍

Love how this young man is totally in control of himself and the segment and the animals & the whole thing, it’s just amazing, just like his dad!!! It’s really hard to believe!!! I love it, he has such confidence, just like his father, that’s how his mom and dad raised him. Love love love it!!! Just now learning about,’ Crikey it’s the Irwins’, so I’m very excited to see what they have for us. Thanks to Jimmy Fallon for having him on! Love how Jimmy interacts with the animals & with Robert!!!

Yep Fun fact: Zebras are black with white stripes you can tell because of their mouth and they use their stripes for a unique camouflage when a heard of zebras run it confuses the predator.
