EXACTLY..one thing that stayed with me is when my mom told me it takes generations to break the poor cycle..and i saw alllllll of her struggles..that always made her depressed, had no time outside of her jobs, wrong uses of her money.etc etc...my purpose for wealth changed when God entered in my life..now i strive for wealth in His kingdom..but while I'm here, i want to build wealth for my child and his children and its taking a lot of responsibility, discipline, sacrifices, etc...wealth is so deep!
Today, I felt so Overwhelmed. I literally felt like crying, so I asked Jesus to help me with my business ideas coz I don't know how to make a website and I don't know what to do, I don't know which business to start first. Ughhhh. Jesus led me to this video and imma buy this book TODAY!
There appears to be no express NT passage that supports saving hundreds of thousands of dollars or investing to gain hundreds of thousands of dollars for future retirement needs against other NT passages that expressly call for financial contentment or giving up of possessions. Mat 6:19 - Do not accumulate for yourselves treasures on earth Mat 19:21-26 - If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor Luk 12:33 - Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide yourselves purses that do not wear out-a treasure in heaven that never decreases, where no thief approaches and no moth destroys. Phil 4:11-13 - have learned to be content 1 Tim 6:8-12 - But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that. People who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. Heb 13:5 - be content with such things as you have
7:18 Total heresy. Tell me where, in the new covenant that God provided in Jesus, He says that He "defines a good man by what he leaves behind" - meaning monetary inheritance. This is not the gospel at all. Click off this video people.
In Proverbs 13:22 and Galatians 3:29. Look it up. Also, more than 2,350 scriptures in the Bible deal with material wealth and blessings. Jesus spoke of many parables that dealt with working for money, stewarding money, receiving money, investing money, and obtaining a return on investment... I could go on and on. I have a lifetime of teaching on this subject. Sorry Schyler, it's all in the bible!
Jesus Christ taught us to pray "give me this day my daily bread" . Furthermore if you want to follow me give away all of your Earthly possessions and follow me and faith. This pastor could give his message in a pair of blue jeans and Converse tennis shoes he doesn't need a silk tie an Armani suit. His words are justifying his evil Deeds
Remember the parable of talents??? Job's restoration?? It's not about money, but your priorities. God is the creator of all resources, so why should His children lack? It's for those reasons people leave christianity cos they think its associated with poverty. Acknowledge God as your priority, & he will add all others, what do God created gold, diamonds, fishes & much of the resources if not for his children??? It's christian to dominate
9:15 God said that you are a King? Interesting. Jesus is my only King. Also the bit about Kings owning land... We don't even know for a fact if Jesus, the King of Kings, was a land owner. You are spinning doctrine in order to increase your wealth by selling books, programs, etc. I hope your stress from not having money is gone, truly. But if that was your only goal, then surely you have received your reward.
Revelation 1:6 and Revelations 5:10 says we are kings (small "k") and priests. It's in the bible. God also told His people 8 times in the bible to "possess the land," and He owns cattle on 1000 hills (Psalm 50:10-12) And, the earth is the Lord's and fullness thereof (Ps. 24:1-2). God owns it all! I have no need to "spin" what the bible always says. It's in the Bible! Thank you for your questions.
@@robertjwatkins You're the type of person who wants to justify everything that comes out of your mouth. I have encountered many people like you. They are mostly the wealthy people, my former bosses and business owners. Everything is about increasing their wealth. There are people who just want to work and make a paycheck and serve God how He tells them. There is nothing wrong with that. But many wealthy people want to increase their wealth so much that those regular employees who run their business can't even get fair pay raises. The fact is business "gurus" like yourself preach about financial freedom but gloss over that you NEED people to run your businesses AKA collect paychecks. What do you have to say about that? If paychecks = misery as you describe, then don't pay people paychecks. Pay your employees equal profit sharing across the board.
I agree. I absolutely recognized that the world uses their jobs, marketing strategies etc to distract us and pull us away from God. Where as when you have your own you have more time for God and everything that you do can always include God.
So at what point do I become a camel that cant fit through the eye of a needle. Why did christ tell the man to go sell everything and give it to the poor? Why did he say dont worry about what you will eat or wear? The bible says the love of money is the root of all evil. Is money bringing you closer to God? How much time do you spend with God when youre working away for money. The meek and poor shall inherit the earth.
His children will be mighty upon the earth: the generation of the upright will be blessed. Wealth and riches shall be in his house ( Psalms 112:2-3 And I do not believe that that necessarily refers to physical, monetary wealth, but really, the really rich and wealthy people are those people, the really rich home and wealthy home is that home where God is honored. They are the people who have the true riches. The riches of the kingdom. Riches that don't corrupt. Riches that don't fade away. Riches that can't be ripped off. Those glorious true riches of God's kingdom. "Wealth and riches shall be in and his righteousness endureth for ever. Unto the upright he rises as a light in the darkness ( Psalms 112:3-4
Yes you can and should apply those principles to wealth and money. But, you should also apply them spiritually and invest in your own spiritual health and help others grow in their spiritual walks with these principles found in the Bible. And I would say in any aspect of your life, it’s multidimensional. True joy will be found in the greatest treasure you will ever have, which is salvation In Jesus Christ and our inheritance in Heaven.
LORD GOD FOR THIS GREAT INSIGHT AND VERY INSPIRING WISDOM SHARED BY DR. ROBERT WATKINS... MAY YOUR ABUNDANT BLESSINGS AND FAVOR COME AND OVERTAKE THE LIFE OF DR. ROBERT WATKINS, HE'S FAMILY, AND COMPANY... AMEN...

God has blessed you with freedom through prosperity. The right information and the right team. I pray now that the right team, people and person comes into my life. Its sad that not many want to become free to do what God has called them to do.
God could less about your poverty or others. It doesn't matter to God, that's why many Christians are very very poor. However if you want financial stability, do whatever is necessary, such as savings, investing, skills, etc. Praying doesn't work for this, so don't waste your time
