How the hell have I not heard these guys before? I've got chills running down my spine. Oh, and by the way, who's the guitar "Rainman"? That dude is killing it, I have'nt been this impressed with a guitar player in a long time! These guys are definatley going on my road trip play list, outstanding!
Damm dudes! My guess is I haven't heard this kind of music since my days in the 70s ....Dicky Betts, Alan Collins, etc: and all the other southerner rockers of that time! Waiting in Indiana for your next gig!
@@waltercalvey8965 REO is from Illinois and not southern rock, REO sold out in the late 70s to become a teeny weeny bopper band.....in the late 60s and early 70s they rocked!
@@indyanna5683 😂 Have it Yer Way, HONEY. Tempo of the Melody & Rhythm are Very Similar, SO, Being From Illinois Myself & Living in Texas Since 1975, Helps Me Distinguish the Two Geographical Differences Between Them. Going by Your Comment, Residing in Indiana, Thus Makes You an Authority on SOUTHERN Rock ?? Sorry, for the Comment I Made to Your Comment. NO OFFENSE !! Consider It GONE !! LOOKS LIKE YOU DELETED IT FOR ME, THANK YOU.
Henry takes me back to when rock was. king, and then the dual guitar harmonies kick in and I'm in heaven!! This music touches my soul deep down where it counts!!! Get Wrecked!!!!
So, my wife and I pulled up next to a guy at a stop light this afternoon and he was jammin' some Blackberry Smoke out his open truck windows. I yelled at him that I love Blackberry Smoke (seen 'em twice) and the first thing he says is "do you know Robert Jon & The Wreck?" I did not, but I do now - and I dig it! I hear a little "Catcha See" in this one. Not a bad thing.
I first learned of The Wreck thru the Blackberry Smoke Brothers & Sisters fan page on Facebook, on their Music Monday one day in Nov of 2021. I was hooked by the end of Last Light on the Highway Pt 2! Seen em 4 times now, last one on NYE opening for Blackberry Smoke at the home of The Marshall Tucker Band, Spartanburg, South Carolina!!
By 'eck. This is a gem. Restores my faith. No heresy, but is there a new Freebies, or Million Miles Away? There is in this house, get you a***s to Britain soon please lads 👍
Southern Rock at its finest that stands tall and proud! These guys are a great band and their sound brings me back to the late 70's and 80's yet still sounds new and fresh.I am really loving this in a major way.Bravo!Awesome!
They would have to be from the south to be Southern Rock, these guys are from California. They're no more Southern Rock than the Eagles or CSN was. It's just plain ol good rock and roll!
@@lesheath6216Nah,you just have to be a good ole boy to play southern rock.Don't matter where your from. They have that southern rock sound like Skynyrd or .38 Special did.
This song is up there with classics like 'Freebird' and 'Jessica' imo for its epic solos and guitar jamming. And that Schneekluth fellow can certainly play a bit!
Amazing sound! The vocal harmonies set my heart to singing! Love that! ❤ And the guitar must have signed up for some flute lessons (or maybe clarinet?), as it sometimes sounded flute-like to my ears!😍 Everything superb!
