As a fellow Scot, it makes me very proud to see someone like Bob out there representing my country and doing it in such an understated, modest way. Well done, and I hope you have many more up your sleeve. I look forward to seeing you in July, at The Renaissance GC, for the Genesis Scottish Open.

the last few years i have won quite a bit of money betting on Bobby Mac as he was way underpriced at 150-1 going into the final round of the Italian Open and the Scottish Open. those betting priced odds have gone now!! great to see him win (from a fellow scot). Oban actually looks like the Riveria on a warm summers day.

Was glued to the TV on Sunday night watching this. Will he, won’t he? Well he got the job done, and showed unbelievable bottle doing so. Well done Bob, you did Scotland and your family proud. Speaking of his family, I’ve kicked his cousin’s candy ass the last 4 times in our Sunday morning 18 hole battles. He hits a mean ball, but is not quite up to Bob’s standard. Bob you need to come to West Lothian to avenge your big cuz! 🐥

So much of the game is mental/emotional, and he obviously held his own during a rough couple of holes on the back nine where others would have been expected to collapse. I’ve no doubt his pops carrying the bag helped him stay level during those moments when shit got real. He broke his cherry, and regardless of who is caddying going forward, I feel like he knows he can be a threat and get it done again.
