I'm glad that somebody brought this up, since I wondered why make a switch, as I like to see continuity. The reasoning is fine and hopefully the new album will be the best one yet, it sounds good so far, but what can also happen is what I'll call the Ronnie Romero effect where a singer is placed on so many different projects that the sense of musical identity gets blurred from one to the next. I now wonder if Serafino made the same proposal to Joel Hoekstra when Girish replaced Russell Allen in his band; that may not be the case at all but either way I did like "Running Games" better than the newest recent release with Girish, "Crash of Life", which to be fair has more reasons to do than with the vocalist.
I liked the new album more than I thought I would, but I think the the head of frontiers sticks his nose into too many f****** things and I think he Waters down or ruins a good thing by so many projects and putting out different things and switching members. If you have a problem with the band, it should be worked out within the band !the manager or the head or whatever shouldn't always butt his nose in that s*** seems serafino does
