What we are witnessing is the most savage, primal and brutal aspects of Robert McCall's dark side/personality and training! He is an extremely highly skilled and well trained killer! I have to agree with Steven when Nikki said that Vikings are better I was no! I've seen them attack a village rape every woman and female child and then murder everyone else! It's very disturbing to actually see some of the things human beings did to each other in the past!!!
Hi y’all! I love watching your reactions, especially about anything that has to do with GOT. I was wondering though if you have ever seen Outlander? It’s really good and it has that fantasy element that GOT and TWD have. So I’m really curious about how you would react to it. Please give it shot.
First saw this a few weeks ago, and all I had to say was that Denzel really gave an immensely powerful and beautiful sendoff to this character, and because this was the third and final installment of the franchise, the filmmakers brought a different taste to the table, but showed that age caught up to Robert but he is now at peace with his life.
@dziesekhrietuokire5023 yes. At least with Denzel. He said he's not coming back mainly because of his age. But the director and writer is considering a prequel surg either Denzel son or Michael b jordan playing young Robert McCall
I honestly think this is my favorite of the three. It feels distinctly humbler and quieter than the first two, which were more your typical retired spy story (albeit super well done). But this one puts all the focus on Robert just finding a new place in life to relax and retire and be happy, and it's not even a struggle for him to protect it. He just wipes the floor clean and kicks his feet up.
Who would’ve thought that Denzel Washington & Dakota Fanning would reunite years later after Man On Fire? I really loved this film from start to finish Denzel didn’t disappoint at all. And this didn’t occur to me until now, that this is his first Equalizer trilogy. Loved y’all’s reaction
When you "didn't expect that" at the beginning -- Director Fuqua smartly shows you Robert's deathwish face, a man lost in a series of assassination jobs merging into one soulless reality. He's ready to end the silent suffering with a bullet. Surprisingly to him, the seaside charm and honest folk rehabilitate his body as well as his soul.
Especially his soul. That line about, "because of these people, I'm starting to understand peace. You can't take that from me," was him saying so out loud in as few words as possible.
It's been a while since I've gone multiple times to the theater to rewatch a movie. This movie did it for me. It was sooooooo much of a fun slow burner. The acting, the setting, the story, the heart, the opening scene or kills brutality in general and even the townspeople who we as the audience were allowed to get to know and therefore understand McCalls motivations. I think everyone who saw this movie wanted to go to Italy. It was a great send off to a character we all love. Great reaction as always guys.
@@4Kandlez Or the harbors of San Francisco bay, the fish markets and thousands of other immigrants letting them know this is a place of coming together. A melting pot of culture, it used to be better, 40 years ago-ish.
Denzel Washington actually requested that Dakota Fanning be the central role on the other side for the CIA. He loved working with her as a child and she had grown so much in her acting career that he thought she could pull it off mama just an FYI❤😂😂
There's a reason Denzel has never done a sequel before Equalizer, and now he's given us 3 absolute MASTERPIECES. I love John Wick movies but these add so much emotion to them. And he's never fighting for himself but others.

Masterpiece? This one was TERRIBLY predictable and boring.
When people compare this franchise to the John Wick, one it's obvious they are not paying attention to the differences. It's so much more than action sequences.
Both are amazing and the best franchises but we can never compare both are different both have different vibes never the same and both are the greatest actors of their eras to ever live
You will notice that all of the big fighting was either by gun or off screen. Denzel is 72 so he cant do the same amount of crazy fighting as he did in the last 2 movies.
Watched EQ3 on Prime today and came here directly after. When the big reveal came I had the same reaction as Nikki and my eyes started leaking. Awesome reaction to the perfect send-off movie for this great character!
I like how he gets up close and personal looking into the eyes of the top dogs as the lifeforce leaves their bodies, that's a major dominance thing, chilling.
I soooooo enjoyed watching live with you guys. I’m so glad you enjoyed and Nikki gave what she was supposed to regarding emotions. This movie was epic and I couldn’t have been prouder to see twice in theaters and purchase prior to dvd release. EQ3 was everything!
Thanks for getting to this movie so quickly. It's been a few years since ive gone to a movie theatre, but I honored this movie by making sure to go to the first viewing at the closest theatre with a friend that normally doesnt like action movies... this action movie is a cut above what you normally find in the genre.
I easily enjoyed this movie over the less plausible marathon action sequences that are John Wick 4. They feel more earned and impactful here. Or it could be because I fell in love with the location and portrayal of community. Or because John mostly fights for himself whereas Robert fights for the sake of others. Great reaction thanks guys.
I think I'm one of the first 5 people to watch this. Clicked on the video and it said posted 50 seconds ago lmao. Love the contents guys. One of my favourite reaction channels on yt :)
Great Reaction!!! As a side note, Nikki made reference to the Twilight movie. Do you guys know Dakota Fanning who plays Emma in this movie was also the actress who played Jane the Voltaire blonde headed vampire cutie?
I believe the ending scene where he gives Collins her mother's little black book is an easter egg to Man on Fire. Remember in Man on Fire he uses Peta's diary to write notes in throughout the film after he thought she was dead. And at the end when they reunite on that highway overpass he gives her the diary back. So in a way, he does the same here, he uses Susan's notebook after she dies, and then at the end gives it to Dakota Fanning.
The funniest part about this movie is when the woman who runs the cafe tells him that she wants to show him the local food and in the next scene she takes him to some guy who sells kebabs on the street.
@NikkiStevenReact 13:42 I said the same thing when I realised it was Dakota .. And for a bit of extra trivia at 25:55 the line he uses about "the way you pronounce your M's is a little dry" was Dakota's line in "Man On Fire" when she was teaching him Spanish.
You guys are two of my favorite reactors. I just have to be careful watching sad shows especially when Nikki starts to get emotional because a few times Nikki has made me get emotional and I didn't really know what was happening to me😅😅😅😅😅 . Reacher season two is coming soon! Also you guys should react to "Invincible"!
Was watching this with them live Watch-A-Long style (My first time watching as well) when it got to 2:30 to 2:47 & I thought & started commenting in chat "What do you do walking into this to find Robert sitting in a chair waiting for you?" then enter to post at 3:37. I was close but just as bad for you, maybe worse at least gun point it looked like you were safe. Great reaction Nikki & Steve React as always keep them coming & I keep watching. P.S. Love the 'In your face' joke & I still agree the best kill was the gun through the eye.
😂😮😊 Wow! This is the first time a movie review made me laugh and cry. The scene with the old man and his sister was so touching. Your reactions are genuine and your facial expressions at the plot twists are priceless. I love how you guys take mistakes with humor and make us viewers feel so connected. Keep up the great work! Greetings from Switzerland.
Sir Robert McCall, The Knight, for Justice. Doesn't Start $hit, but Will End 'The $hitters!' He's more than some badass Assassin, he's a Determined Man who helps Those in Need. 😀 BRAVO💫❗
There are few but some good female and male actresses that started from being a child, Drew Barrymore is one she started as a child and grew up into the movies and so is this one with Denzel and Dakota. It’s good to see them together again though. Thanks for sharing and enjoy.🎉😂😊
I could never have imagined that a popular 80's justice drama about an older, British, white guy, would evolve into a phenomenal franchise now--starring an actor I knew from ANOTHER popular 80's medical drama. My mind's blown! 🤯
Mark Hamill, Luke Skywalker himself said in an interview in Italy "I'd rather do the trench run in my X-Wing 4 more times rather than drive in Rome." And he's right.
These James-Bond beginnings are a worthy tribute to the construction of these EQ stories. Often, James-Bond beginnings don't link to the rest of the story - they end one tale, and the movie deals with something else (such as Robert Uber-Driver and the Cocaine Yuppies. But here, I was thinking this criminals were all linked to the opening scene (at least thru money) but seeing the "return something" finale was wonderful.
Historically, rocky mountain fortresses 'fell' by siege when water ran out. Well-digging on mountains is pretty darned difficult - often spelled "impossible".
One of these years, someone's going to tell you about CINEMA PARADISO and the "projecting movies on town walls" will take on a wonderful and higher meaning, and fireworks over town squares will be something audiences have dreamed of for decades now.
I haven't seen all of Denzel's movies, but I would recommend Red Tide to you guys if you haven't seen it yet. Him and Gene Hackman are the leads, and the supporting cast was amazing as well. It's just a really strong story and everyone involved brings their "A" game to the table. "Remember the Titans" is another masterpiece as well, that often doesn't get the YT reactions like his other more action related movies do.
THE LIGHTING! I watched this in HDR on an OLED TV and OH. MY. GOD. The harsh, purposely over/underexposed lighting and the way the shadows were done in this movie made it much more of a horror movie than anything else. And the score matched it perfectly.
After watching the film I immediately came onto your page to see if yall did a reaction and just like Robert said "Timing" it was a dope film. Love yall page all the way from South Africa 🇿🇦
One of my favorite Denzel films has to be Much Ado About Nothing. It's a Shakespeare film adaptation with some of the most recognized actors of the action genre and the golden age of Hollywood.
This movie is great. What a fantastic end to a fantastic trilogy trilogy, one of the best trilogies out there. So happy that Robert McCall gets his happy ending.
5:25 I think this part in the beginning was taking a reference from the movie Training day when Alonzo was having wine with the three wise men (the higher ranks officers) then later got shot in the ass by his partner Ethan Hawke.
Been waiting for your reaction. What a fantastic movie, Totally get Nikki's thoughts on man on fire, my all time no1 film and the end always gets me. Would have love to see you react to that.
Hi Nikki Stevens I love your reaction to equalizer 3 I saw this in theaters too but I'm happy to see your reaction and each of your reactions were fantastic and clearly yours Nikki you sure have a lot of surprise when Denzel does the deadly and awesome kills of the bad guys !! hopefully he does another equalizer 4.
You two are AMAZING together!! NEW SUBSCRIBER!! Denzel is probably one of my fav actors of all time. The entire Equalizer Trilogy is the best. Thank You. (p.s. Man on Fire is on my constant rewatch list.)
I feel like they upped the gore in this one. Movie has a different feel too. It's. Ore grungey but also more vibrant. Perfectly paced and grounded. I love it. I wasn't super fond of Equalizer 2 so this was a very pleasant surprise!
I like the good man and bad man talk. Robert is a good man because he doesn’t think he is a good man. A bad person knows they are bad and will admit it out of pride. A bad person will also lie and say they are a good person just to fool people or maybe they believe they are good when they are not. A true good person is humble and will not admit they are good when they are. That’s why Enzo trusted him. Because he knew Robert was a true good person!
What you were saying about him killing only bad people, I thought about True Lies, when Harry was under the effects of the truth serum and Helen asks him "Have you ever killed anyone?" And Harry responds "Yah but they were all bad!" 🤣🤣Every line in that movie is quotable, lol.
44:03 heck of a callback. Same can be said about the fire. It's the reason Ralphie quit his job for his mom. So, it happening here...was all the fuel he needed
