For my brother, who passed away 5 years ago at 42. He was DJ when he was 18-20. This song reminds me some good souvenir when he trained at home. Love you bro.
This track is a prime proof that music is the only one true and real international language. It doesn't have a single word, but everyone understands it.
Músic is the universal language for humans, but matemathics is the language of all entyties in the universe. Love in the other way is the only way of the universe who can surpass all forces.
@@momoreview5555 music is mathematics. The harmonic series is a math equation and a musical description, all music is just frequency intervals shaped different ways.
@@theun-knownmusician5468 Not realy, the Planet needs a rest. On the other hand, it's sad that there will be no one who cares for all the beautiful classic cars out there. Yeah it must sound crazy, because on one hand i'm happy that the planet can rest, on the other hand, i care for cars. But my astrological sign is gemini, so it's normal ^^
REALSlutHunter wait a second... I love cars as well. Especially classics. They’re engineering masterpieces. My dad has a P5B actually. But yes, you’re correct, maybe the world does need a rest.
This song always reminds me of my dad that passed away 10 years ago. He raised me by himself all my life because my mom passed away when I was just a baby. I have no memory of her but I do have videos and pictures and that makes me happy. All my life i aimed to make my dad proud but at the same time I was so lost and scared of losing him that I never had the courage to talk to him about life after he’s gone... he also never got to see me graduate high school and that thought never went away either 😞 I miss you dad. I hope you and mom are proud.
In that life you are just a jurney playing actor in life so were from you come were you go the way of life is it life same dad way he learn it from lige way mum way same be brave and lovley to all human cuase last coud be exeptable in peace of your hurt god bless michel boul9s
You might appreciate this. My mom in her 70s got obscessed with music. 3 years or so of evrrything the cello player, country, queen, disturbed, johnny cash, miley cyrus blond remake etc. One morning is was shocked out of my sleep. She died that day. I went to go pack up my house she lived in. Answer message. I called, friend on answer was a psychic medium. Said she was loving the music.....and died at 4 am and passed through me to say good bye. Said the music was amazing there.
This is what i call time that will never come back! Every child that got lucky to grow on this on his childhood really felt the deep excitement in a pure 90's melody!
How beautiful it is that this track was a part of our childhood, and it's literally called "Children" as if it was meant for us to bring us back to that period of time.
This song came on the radio as me and my wife were driving to the hospital to give birth to our child. For that, I never forget the day, and I never forget the song.. They are intertwined.
I first fell in love with this in 1995. Today is 31 Dec. 2022. This is still as pure as it was then. "Gold remains Gold" isn't said for nothing. God bless us all in 2023.
Anybody else listening to this music and feeling like your alone a community of fellow humans is with you wishing you the best and no worries just peace.
2023 still a classic I'm 42yrs old and still a love it.. My neighbours love listening to it more then me cause when I turn it up full blast on a Sunday night at about 11pm and have it on repeat till 3am. They threw a house brick through my front window so they could hear it more clearly.. they even invited the police to come have a listen!! Banging tune!!
Rest in peace, Robert Miles. The first time I ever heard this track was on a late night BBC Radio 1's essential mix at around 3 am sometime during 1996 and I was mesmerised.
Did Robert Miles die? I did not know this. Children (Dream Version) was the first song I heard; it was playing at Hastings in Lawton OK, on the speakers throughout the store; I bought the cd before I left....the whole cd is awesome.
I'm listening to older tunes at the moment and remember this one. It's been almost 27 years since I heard this song. I loved it when it first came out, I was 40 at the time and still love it now. Thanks for the memories.
Many people don’t know, but Robert made this song after his dad return from the War in Ex-Yougoslavia... that’s also the song he made for the end of his concert to prevent people from driving drunk and excited back home....
Actually there was a series of fatal accidents, In Italy back in 90s, when party kids drive back at late night from rave/dance parties and fall asleep behind the wheel. They were so young, children almost
Lol, i was looking for it too, like 5 or 6 years, but couldn't find it. I found it actually because there is a TV in my school and people ofter turn it on for the music on the pauses from lessons, if think they have switched on MTV back then and this music actually were played at that moment so that's how i found it :D
My god, this song brought me to tears in the first 5 seconds. I'm currently on day 2 of quitting alcohol and needed a song for dopamine and motivation and the nostalgia of this song was so powerful rn. Taking me from this rock bottom and letting me travel through time to a different time when i was a more innocent kid who had more hope and motivation Edit: thank you to everyone for the likes and support, it means a lot that there's strangers on the internet that are willing to be supportive to me and care. Thank you
Just so everyone knows, Robert Miles made this song in honour of all the innocent children that died in the Bosnia-Herzegovina war after his father had returned from the war and told Robert of what he had seen...
Just played on BBC Radio 2 & the DJ Said "he & fellow Italian Musicians decided they needed to start ending their raves with calmer songs because a lot of young people were crashing their cars on the way home & it worked."
Erik. This is copied & paste from Wiki. It shows both reason are right my friend 😃🖖 Miles gave two inspirations for the writing of "Children". One was as a response to photographs of child Yugoslav war victims that his father had brought home from a humanitarian mission in the former Yugoslavia;[4] and the other, inspired by his career as a DJ, was to create a track to end DJ sets, intended to calm rave attendants prior to their driving home as a means to reduce car accident deaths.[1] The song cost £150 to record.[5]
This song elicits memories and emotions. It raises my vibrations with inspiration and motivation. We are all blessed to share this song in community. Robert would be humbled by that!❤
THIS is my all time favourite trance song. Although Robert Miles passed away (RIP to this brilliant DJ), his music remains strong even to this day. I remember hearing this back in the day and I really liked it. This is a big track in the UK and it was one of my favourite trance tracks.
Rest in peace, Robert. Thank you for the music and for the memories. I hope that you are creating music in the afterlife, man. You are missed. See you on the other side. 🙏🏾
I studied for my entire high school final exams to this song on my old iPod. Maybe for 3 months or more? Needless to say, I scored really well in my exams. It was just this song, and even now when I listen to it, it feels like I'll never tire of it, something about it takes me to this different place
I love this song so much, ❤I was born in the late 2000s but I don't like what teenagers my age listen to, I love electronic and techno, this song seemed familiar to me, I heard it one day on the radio and looked for it and now I listen to it happily... . ❤
I feel nothing but bliss and pure joy, listening to this timeless masterpiece! I remember dancing to this at the clubs, when it was first released. Great times!!❤❤
this is the one song that hits home no matter were in the world I am, it brings me back to a time when happiness was a thing... have a great day to anyone that reads this, you are amazing.
Nice and ty I'm writing and painting my youngest sons legacy piece when this song popped up on Playlist . Good may be a thing I work towards but good enough for my efforts I'll take. Bless you.
God is a good Father to all of our souls. Yes, he made us all. Every single one of us. And all animals, trees, and life forms in the oceans too. And the very solar system our beautiful planet dwells safely in.
It's 2am here in Pakistan 🇵🇰 Islamabad, after duty of 12 hours I took my meal , put hand free in ears for this music and train my super bicep curl now ...... Energy booster ❤❤❤❤❤
Sean do your research, he never touched kids, and he’s not overrated, his thriller album is still the best selling album of all time, Adele and Katy Perry are overrated
Agree. It’s a shame that even while fans and big DJs are paying respects to him, American radio stations continued to overshadow him with mainstream music (this also happens with Avicii). When I was in Italy, I heard mainstream radio stations there play this masterpiece.
A chaque fois que j'écoute cette musique j'ai des larmes aux yeux tu nous manquent énormément Robert Miles tu restera toujours le meilleur DJ. Une grande pensé à toi 😪😔
I was born in 94, this is my favorite song since when I was a kindergarten kid, and I will never forget about Robert Miles! May he Rest In Peace and may God Bless His Soul for giving us such a Beautiful Track. Greetings!
