I am I loved to watch this video as a little girl pretending to be one of the ladies playing my air 🎸 😂😂❤❤❤❤❤no clue of what these lyrics represented 😂😂😂😂😂😂 I learned in 1996 what those lyrics meant 😂😂😂😂
I was on a 9hr car trip with my family and I must have heard at least 200 songs and out of those this is the one that decided to get stuck in my head. That’s how u know it’s a good song!
I absolutely love this music, I grew up with this music but today classic rock is pretty much limited to strip clubs or dive bars, there's no in between.
@@pandacyy2276 where did I swear? The word "badass" is pefectly normal used in colloquial and informal conversations. Do you come from a weird religious sect, have you grown up in a monastery or have you watched too much Sesame Street?
@@pandacyy2276 so what? What normal person would even notice the way I used a word? You live in a society, not in a monastery or a cartoon show for toddlers.
In 1999 I found a blank cassette on the ground, brought it home, played the mysterious tape and this song comes on... Over and over. You might as well face it, you're addicted to this song
A great song by Robert Palmer! This was a featured track on "American Top 40 - The '80s" (from March 22nd, 1986), & was the #18 song. R.I.P., Robert Palmer.
Such a sexy song, and not necessarily because of the lyrics. I loved how they used it in "Welcome to Marwen" for a bit with the living dolls marching to it.
Love is nice but really I'm addicted to RU-vid with its endless supply of music, hilarity, randomness, and last but not least factual information to soak up like the sponge I am!!!
I use these songs for more than dancing and cooking in my home. I have been doing workout even actual yoga since I was a child in this lifetime back in Wytheville, Virginia is where I was born. But I ended up in the town of Rural Retreat, Virginia where they didn't like my athleticism. They didn't even like my big words. I've been working out while playing this song. I had pepperoni pizza hot -n- ready from Little Cesars. When I was pregnant both times I did do workouts but I was playing music even while folding laundry and taking showers too. I am the reason so many new things have been being released about some major celebrities that didn't do anything wrong and some may have even made a come back by even being born to some of their favorite fans because of the athleticism that they had expressed in front of them even. But well, I have been doing work outs for almost 40 years. Because I kept dying while on actual life support in this lifetime and I just knew I needed to do something to keep my even bronchial tubes from closing up during both of my pregnancies even. I don't drink alot of cold water and I haven't had even one of the monster energy drinks. I have been drinking mountain dew. But well, Sometimes moon mist is okay. I don't drink much water anymore. But well, the caffeine is to be used the right way in your body so it doesn't clog up even your pores and yes even cause constipation even if you are taking laxatives or colon cleansing supplements. I'm about to break my foot off in the next fly that tries to contaminate me though. LAY OFF! BYE!
I don't know about you, but this is pure R-n-R..Besides the video, which I get. This is when after this song, things changed. Movies changed, videos changed...Rock and Roll went a different direction.Away from T.V. and unless you collect oldies..Into oblivion..And Pop music, became the song of the day.Wow.When rNr should be on top.Great song and sound, from an Englishman, who has passed away...But the music hasn't...
Thank you so much for posting this video!! I've been trying to find the studio version of this song for ages and here it is. Thanks again for the post. This is a great song.
To me, this song is talking about my past heroin addiction I'm now a year and a half clean and not going back. Happily married with a helpful wife and kids. God is great . To Anyone going through a struggle just know you can overcome the problem. In every problem there is a benefitial opportunity waiting. God bless and much love yall.
Went to number 1 back in May 3, 1986. A week after it was knocked out to number 2 and on May 10, 1986, West End Girls by Pet Shop Boys took over the number 1 spot. Charlie Van Dyke took over Casey Kasem's place when American Top 40 during May 3, 1986 when I used to KJR, AM-950 which serve Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia, Everett, and Bremerton Washington, as well as Bellingham Washington.
I was invited to the Grammys by his executive producer. 1983. His name was David Harper. He was a little French dude that wouldn’t take NO. for an answer. In fact it made him crazy. I called my dad from L.A. come and get me. Mr Harper learned to take no for an answer.
when your a guy/girl in love with a girl/guy and your addicted to love, you will be as nice and honest to her/him as the most nicest and most honest person in the world can possibly be, just so you can fix that craving.
John Surname Oh no you don't LOL We Grannies get Adblock Plus :-) I don't get adverts or popups on anything EVER. Don't even get Ads on my facebook....or Movie sites, that's why I threw the TV out LOL
If you have ads, pop ups and little screens all over your screen you likely have Adware on your computer... might wanna look into it. And make sure you don't have extensions if you're using google chrome. Hidden shit like that will cause lots of problems
Birth of the Power Station right here (I just love Tony Thompson's heavy drum sound on that album). Also, who knew this: Vocal Arrangement by - Chaka Khan
