Glad that he mentioned nine inch nails... I was kinda hoping he would. Richard Patrick of Filter is such a cool dude and Title of Record is such a badass album (underrated as f#¢%) .. Trying not to curse is my new years resolution.
I just found out today that he was Richard's older brother. It blew my mind because I was listening to Filter's first album today and of course I looked him up. Crazy the things you find out that you had no idea about.
I have listened to filter constantly for like a month now and just found out they were brothers. First it was like "oh he was in nine inch nails?" but I missed this part apparently...
Richard talks the same way about his brother on interviews, he recognizes him as being the "pioneer" adventurer in the family... Very cool to see family members not hating each other 🤣🤣🤣
I remember seeing him when Title of Record first came out. He was blasting it and so happy about it. Robert has always been so supportive of Richard. I didn't know their dad went to MIT. I'm actually not too surprised. Richard and Robert are quite smart.
Dude is such an underrated actor! He was really good in the film walk the line and usually everything he does I k ow this is a few years old but i love hearing the news that they are working together. Im sure their relationship was strained at a few points.
I saw Skinny Puppy and the Revolting Cocks in 1990. I don't remember anything about the Skinny Puppy show, but the "Revco" show ... whew, that was bizarre!
besides the recent "Trump hating" from Richard's part (not sure if the rest of the family on Ohio thinks like that) I'm sure they're not dumb people, but it really intrigues me why smart people would think like that, ignoring all the bad stuff that Obama did too (and now Biden)
