Robert Plant talking about collaborating with Krauss and the struggle learning how to sing harmonies is fantastic. These musicians work hard, no matter how much success they've had.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is what real musicians do. Every time I hear this album I am as amazed as I was the first time years ago. Thank you for this.
What incredible tight harmony. They both have brought their best games to this partnership. I had my doubts, but picked up “Raising Sand” and after one listen I was sold. And the one that just came out is even better! Plant seriously found the Fountain of Youth, and Alison is ageless, and just blends her sound and grooves right along the beat. A masterpiece!
This sound woke up memories at my friends Tito & Tarantula. Brilliant playing here I love it. This guys all together wonderful in harmony with Alison and Robert, well done.
Just browsing for Whisky Lullaby,, but it will be a few hours yet, guess I will be watching lots of videos of these two for a while!! Pure magic with these two
Tight performance. I particularly love the tone of Buddy Miller's little solo (2.45). This performance seems the perfect blend of 3 guitars, (as well as the smooth blending of voices). I prefer this version to the album version.
Oh you can tell the band loves having her on stage with them. She's something awesome ness or a plant. You wouldn't be where you are if it wasn't for her
Seeing this exact video did it for me: Plant does bluegrass / Krauss does rock / who the hell is T Bone Burnett anyway!? - and I was hooked. Bought the album next week. Bless you, Jools Holland!!
I was in the 8th row @ their Chicago performance on June 7th. Felt I witnessed a "masterclass in musicians listening & respecting one another."-- Chicago Tribune. A gorgeous night.
I think their in love❤️ I would’ve never imagined 30 years ago she was probably in her teens is that! And now look these two here go right at it 🔥Allison has got such the most angelic voice I’ve ever heard! And Robert plant is just in awe🙌🏻🙏🏻❤️
I just love that Robert Plant wasn't "too cool" to collaborate with Alison! It shows versatility and shows off a side of his voice we've never heard. I wish they'd do Going to California! Her voice would sound amazing!
