You planned that wardrobe for this didn't you? Definitely matches the doo! No but really, killer amp. Been eyeing these since they were announced. Yet to play one, but I imagine they kick massive ass.
That's funny. I almost always remove the name tag off my amps, unless it's an iconic look like vox, fender. If it's a custom amp, the tag has to go. I hate the word tag.
Hi Robert, question, is the V32 amp good for just a small venue or does it sound loud for a larger venue too, I am curious, better answer me or I'll send the "Boogie Man" to your side of the woods: ) LOL! Thanks Robert!
Ha. The California Tweed has only been in the studio with me. Never used it live. So I don't know.... but, in my opinion, it is a 40 watt amp, and that is loud enough for any gig, especially since larger venues will mic it anyway. Boogie!
j dean Oh... sorry. I dunno, it’s less power and less headroom than a Blues Deluxe, but the mic-ing thing still stands to some extent. I used the Blues Deluxe in a few decent sized rooms... but I just have the Palomino because it was my Brother in-laws and when he passed from a heart attack, my sister gave it to me. He used to get a good sound out of it. I just keep it ‘cause I miss the guy. :)
Sorry Robert I did not mean to bring back sad moments in one's life, still, so cool of you to keep it, it looks very nice and the Tweed gives it a 50's feeling. Thank you so much for your time! Any chance you and or your band coming over to Chicago, I will like to see your show!
j dean Our band does not bring in enough cash to make a tour worth the cost... but we would love to tour. Maybe one day. Oh and don’t worry about me brining up Tom. Having that little amp sitting there makes me happy. 😺
Ha, that made me think, definitely don’t wanna boogie with a moist vox… you know, to try and another word that people commonly say creeps them out… but then maybe 3 wrongs made it right?
