Thank you for this, much appreciated. Long may we hear the sound of the BAGPIPES, I love playing them, weddings Birthdays, and the most important one for me is a funeral, a wonderful send of for a loved one.
Excellent interview! Have been wondering about starting on the adventure of piobaireachd, my tutor has told me I should, and now I am more curious and will soon start. Thank you!
The old woman’s lullaby sounds like a great tune to start with. I used to have a vinyl LP record of Invergordon Distillery Pipe Band playing it. Superb.
Is the picture on the wall at the back Squinting Patrick, he of the eponymous Flame of Wrath? If so I recall it being on the wall of Duncan Johnstone's piping study in Moray place. Looked at it many times. I always wondered where it had gone.
