Is your guitar set up correctly? I've played for 40 years and found that a lot of young kids give up on guitar simply because the action is set so high, playing caused pains, blisters and misery. That's why many expensive guitars (and cheap ones) get played with for a few minutes and then sit in a case until they're sold. I bought an 800.00 Takamine close to 10 years ago, after a year I took it to a luthier and had is set up, I was asked what size strings I use and I said Elixir Custom Lights. When I got it back it was amazing. Go to a guitar store and see if a salesperson can show you a guitar that's set up to play like a guitar and not a violin. There may be some blistering if you play for hours and hours but rarely bleeding.

I gotta get a decent guitar, but embarrassed to say I can't really shell out any money for a decent guitar. So I'm stuck with this one.

😂get those fingers to work..I know.. it's the worst.. guitar set up or not.. it hurts after a long break

@@concerthallrecords Usually, covers of this song are played with dreadnought guitars, but this parlor sounds really outstanding. As a matter of fact I own a parlor but never played that song with her before... I will try!! Beautiful playing!!

Page actually tuned it EADADE when recording, then slowed the tape down exactly one full step to DGCGCD. I met him in 1999 while on a business trip to England, and got to chat for over half an hour, one-on-one. One question I asked was how TRS was tuned, as I had figured it out in open G and mentioned to him that some chords didn't ring out right, and he instantly identified the problem and told me the correct tuning - then said how he actually recorded it live in the studio.
