I had the pleasure of going to Italy a couple of weeks ago to do an animation workshop for Nemo Academy in Florence. It's a great school and they are such lovely and generous people. I roughed out the first version of this test during the workshop and then I tied it down later when I got home.
The sound is Roberto Benigni from "Life is Beautiful" and he says, "Guardate che roba! Cartilagine mobile! Pieghevole! Trovatemi du (due) orecchi più belli di questi, e io me ne vado per carità!" which translates in English to, "Check it out! Movable cartilage! Bendable! Find two ears more beautiful than these and I'll leave!"
It was fun to try and animate something in Italian, and of course dogs are my favorite. This one kind of looks a bit like my own dog, Freddie.
