Hoshikawa’s absurd self confidence has never failed to amaze me (and charm me). I didn’t think there’d be more of people like her out there. I remember Hoshikawa saying she never felt nervous for a single moment during her interview with Nijisanji coz she genuinely thought there was no way she could fail when she was the embodiment of talent itself and I just wow. When they asked why she wanted to join, she replied it was a good place to see how high she can climb and was scrutinising the interviewers to see if their company was befitting of nourishing her talents. It borders on arrogance but it makes sense they got to where they are being the people that they are.

After going through a few knocks in life, I can say their outlook is something I really want to have. There's a difference when you can see each experience as essential to yourself and love each part, and when you hate and beat yourself up.
