If he does it trashy or tells her parents, no room for her to judge, she has no room to feel disrespected. If he wants to walk out and never respond that is just as equally a strong response to not even give her attention. Cheaters rarely or never change, and it will be very unlikely they will change for the one they cheated on.
It's sad but i can understand where the guy is coming from. I cut it off after one month because I genuinely didn't like her but the fact is he's been at this for 5 months which means she's doing SOMETHING right for him. There was the woman I dated with an absolutely dream body. She was an 11/10 and the type of girl even the worst of playboys could probably never cheat on because she was that fine, physically though. When I met up with her on our first date, she was over 2 hours late. She was always at least half an hour late to every date after and eventually wanted to live with me, but I decided to break up and pursue someone that actually cared to give back. If she's always late and he always worries about her talking to someone else again, there's honestly no road to patching up that trust. @@TheMan21892 The country I'm living in has a problem with so-called "Passion Killings" where a jilted lover (often a man) would for whatever reason snap and kill/atttempt to kill their partner and their children, then off themselves afterwards. A lot of the time, because everyone involved was offed and the families (or survivors) tend to not say anything, the reasons can only be speculated. However, every so often, a survivor of the incident (whether a victim or the killer) does reveal something, and it tends to either be a domestic situation gone COMPLETELY off the rails or the victim was thought to be cheating.
Man I feel bad for the guy. Although the fact that he is so forgiving to the point of disregarding all the red flags is one of his faults, the girl who keeps doing these things even after being forgiven is the worst.
A bit of an added perspective: making your partner happy IS important in a relationship, but it’s a two way street - a give and take. If you’re giving but the other is only taking, that’s not an equal relationship. It can be hard to see this when you’re in love but if you’re putting everything into making it work but the other isn’t reciprocating, then that’s a real problem.
If it is a matter of your love for their looks, a presence of attraction in their appeal, that will never end well, cause with those same looks, they can do whatever they want wrapping you around their finger. That is why personallity is better sought out, taking from each other's time to accumulate interest overtime thus making a connection, and keeping things interesting, 2-6 hour tardiness on the first date should automatically tell you, "Heh, so... I am not worth your time huh?" and anything else she says is just honey words to get you to burn more of your time and resources. If it WERE an emergency she would have contacted you about it several minutes prior to the emergency, but that doesnt' happen often at all. Just toss her.
Something that's really telling about this message is that he doesn't include any redeeming qualities about his girlfriend. No justifications, no excuses, no explanations. Nothing about why he loves her or all the things she does for him. He doesn't say give her benefit of the doubt by saying he's too harsh, judgemental, or not understanding enough. In fact he shares suspicions that he's just backup for her. He isn't weighing the good and the bad, he's collecting evidence and building a case. This is a man who knows his relationship is bad and he's looking for outside confirmation. Also: 2-6 HOURS?? Only TWO dates out of 40 were on time? That's a minimum of 80 hours of your life wasted waiting for someone else to show up. Only 5% of the dates were on time. That alone would prompt me to have a serious conversation about whether someone values my time.
