It can make the treasures that affect the whole run so thats something to keep in mind if you want to tryhard.

@@saskiauludag2921 Statistically, everytime you pick a tresure, you are presented with 3 treasures: One which is the worst of this three, one which is the best of this three, and an average one. Box always transforms into an average treasure (as there are no treasures that you can pici that would be better or worse), so it's statistically worse than one you would normally pick

@@lukijez Your mistake there is to mix up two different sets of variables. For average and best to make sense the treasures require a total order. The box will statistically be average across the whole set of treasures, but you only get offered a subset which changes things. Say you get offered the two worst treasures from a total of 8. Each turn the box has 3/4 of a chance to be better than the two options and there's only 1/8th a chance for it to be worse than picking the better of the other two treasures. So the box is much superior in that case.

@@d4s0n282 He frequently played 1 card a turn instead of coining first to make the coin the first card he plays instead of whatever card he wants to play. Also, the obvious fact, that he screwed up by actually playing coins multiple times.

I don't think so, I'm not positive since the tavern mechanics aren't really explained very well but I don't recall ever seeing more than two coins and the cards you choose to play or not don't seem to affect which ones you get in the next encounter either. If someone knows differently I'd like to know how it actually works though.

I once had 4 copies of loyal henchman (1 1/1 that you draw after the mulligan, and gets +1/+1 every turn in your hand) with one of them being a 3/3, that was pretty cool. Though, the most broken combo I got was “you draw 3 cards a turn and are immune to fatigue” and “your leftmost card costs 2 less”. Every single turn I would completely empty my hand, and then draw a completely new hand the next turn

One run I had 7 Loyal Henchmen with captured flag. Actually had to try to Mulligan for one of them because otherwise I'd mill turn 1. Was fun times.

I got the one that copies itself at the end of your turn, buffed to be a 7/7 as a right hand man

It's even pretty good of you have a slow deck. It almost always allows you go control the fuck out of the board until midgame.

Yeah, it's really just always great. Obviously take something you have more synergy with if that's an option but you can really only ever make your deck significantly better with that. If you think of in terms of a Fiery War Axe as the average low roll then it's a 0-mana 4/3 weapon that starts in your opening hand and draws a card when played, that's such a nuts tempo and value advantage that I can only assume he didn't really process what the card did when he said that (which given the repeated misplays later in the run seems like a reasonable assumption).

Robes only allows you to play two cards a turn, but they're half price. He'd already played Khadgar and a coin, hence hitting the two card limit.

Play it more. Sometimes you get the big high roll and the chump bosses and it's a joke. But especially starting with Violet Hold, you really need to draft that big power to get the straight 8 every time. This deck would probably run into big trouble in the Violet Hold against any Druid or Warlock or Disidra.

@@rarpott I'm still playing it. Cause I love to explore crazy combos and wanna see all the bosses. And I still win much more, than I think is good. There's no challenge. Yeah, Anomalies make the game better. Specially, if you run in some boss, that has synergy with the anomaly you got... But overall still pretty week. I was hoping to feel the progression - like you can't finish Heroic with basic deck and hp, so you unlock them and become powerful and finish the thing . Barely. I finished them both on first try. And now I have all ticks on hps and decks in Violet Hold - working with the Bank now.

The range of how good it can be is vast, but even at it's best it's likely not as good as the flag. Every deck has minions and flag just makes every one of them better. I think cursed blade isnt really something to worry about bc it's just one weapon of many.
