I'm white. A European White from England (born just outside of London) from Scottish, French and Irish stock so pretty bloody white. Yep, and they were too wrapped up in their special little bubble to notice or care. Growing up as a non-white back then, you knew you didn't belong, nor were you wanted, in those circles. Thankfully it didn't destroy us, and it just shows how savage and self-serving white people have been in the past.
corporations dont give a fook about these things. They care about money. And back then the main consuming class in western major markets was 90% white. Now corporations are woke not because they care but because its hip and cool and if they are not 'diverse' they will get cancelled and lose billions. You must have seen the meme with nazi Germany and German companies like BMW. Its all about the money. It is certain advertisments aiming asian markets would have diffrent people.
