@@rakimovich-361 For real? To me it was like night and day and I have also rewatched it several times. When I listen to it, Robin's replacement VA has much more softer, gentler voice compared to og VAs mischievous seductiveness. Or at least that's how I'd describe it 😅

The scream for Sogeking was SO GODDAMN REAL! He really came through this arc, he’s THE MVP! Marv is RIGHT, he really took Sanji’s words to heart! Taking this moment to say that I think Usopp and Sanji’s dynamic is heavily underrated, like Sanji GETS Usopp. He understands how he feels, he stands up for him when he can’t defend himself and praises him like a proud parent when he proves himself, such as the snipe on the bridge you just saw. I don’t see a lot of people talk about their dynamic because it’s honestly golden, with the comedy and the emotional value and all

@@TheGrossDemon I’d suggest making it known this is a spoiler for the guys just in case, but I 100% agree! That, I believe, is why Sanji lashed out so aggressively at Luffy when he was about to tell Usopp to get off the crew in Episode 235; he knows what it’s like to feel useless and abandoned by those he trusted, even if he couldn’t directly SAY what he was feeling, he did all he could to make Usopp understand that he wasn’t alone. Such a brilliant dynamic that often gets overlooked

@@De-Lix-O I know lmao, Sanji knew Luffy was gonna say that so he kicked him to shut him up. It was a double whammy moment, 1 so Luffy wouldn’t say anything he would regret, and 2 because he himself knows what it’s like to feel useless and a burden, and he knew Usopp was feeling that way at that moment with the whole money situation for example, so he didn’t want Usopp feeling worse because of Luffy’s words, which he unfortunately did anyway

This is why Kaku is so admired despite his association with the World Government. CP9 are either orphans or children of past agents. In spite of their skills Kaku is seemingly the only agent that regrets what he's done as he wished he could remain at Galley-La (a pic of his childhood showed he loved building ship-in-a-bottles.). He is also the only one to willing give his key (#5 Robin's Key) to the Strawhats thus Kaku is the one opponent Zoro felt guilty for fighting that he actually apologized (not to mention he acknowledged Kaku for his skills). Kaku probably feels he can't escape or else the bloodthirsty Lucci will kill him.

@@monttyy4879 In the 2nd official Manga Character Popularity Poll Kaku ranked 9th (highest villain at the time and above 10th Portgas D. Ace and even 12th Rob Lucci the defacto strongest of CP9). In the 3rd Official Poll he ranked 16th; still over-performing Rob Lucci (19th). Giraffes are Awesome. 🦒

ASURA BAYBEE! I love how Zoro went Asura mode after thinking about Robin screaming that she wanted to live, and then thinking about the rest of his crew suffering and trying their hardest as he brings out his attack. Brings me back half the show ago when he couldn’t trust her one bit, always keeping her at arms length even when catching her in Skypiea, but now? Like HELL is he gonna let her or any of the crew down. He’s ending this NOW. Also if I remember correctly, Asura is a race of malevolent demons from Hinduism and / or Buddhism, who are referred to as “the enemies of God”. Love that reference because Zoro has never ONCE prayed to God and never will

Liking the intro a lot. Spandam’s “I’m the world’s hero!” just about shows the Marine’s general perspective; it doesn’t matter how they act, how they abuse their power, because everything they do is to kill and capture pirates, world renowned criminals. The line has between good and bad across Marines and pirates has been blurred so many times, yet it only gets better from here

Spandam is not a marine so I don't see how he exactly shows how Marines see anything. Also, he is simply an individual who no one in the CP9 seems to respect one bit, so I don't understand how you one can make any generalisations of others based on Spandam. I wouldn't even claim that Spandam is a typical government official as we've barely seen any of them in the series.
