Robin was on my bucket list . I was so happy a dear friend of mine got tickets to see him in April of 2017 at the Fitzgerald theater in Minneapolis MN . 2 months later I had quadruple bypass surgery . 2 more heart surgeries in the next 3 years. I'll be 67 this week. I hope that anyone who has yet to see him perform in person can do so!
Yup but TROWER wasn't as revered as a Jeff Beck,,,not singing well, can be a handicappe for most good players. SRV, his singing elevated his performance & not singing can hinder a Guitarist especially if he's a solo act... TROWER was/ is still very good player .His Bridge of Sighs,LP is difficult to surpass..Over 25 albums to Robin Trower credit. Eric Clapton never invited Robin to any of the Crossroads events, and I wonder why?

Eric Clapton never invited Robin Trower to one of CLAPTONS CROSSROADS FESTIVALS.WHY? Both Great guitarist, and that's what CROSSROADS was mostly about, guitar PLAYERS, & Blues.

Sari is a real talent, great vocal range and puts so much emotion into her singing. She will be touring the UK with the excellent Jim Kirkpatrick but would so much love to see her tour with Robin, he has been easily my favourite guitarist for decades but has lacked a vocalist of the calibre of Jimmy Dewar for such a long time, Sari I think brings out the very best in Robin’s playing. What a combination.
This gal can sing...well...very very well,... and Robin...I've got all his stuff,... there is something in his brain,...that just keep's getting more and more "precise"... as time goes on,... he said once.."I'd like to think I'm getting better.. all the time".......HE IS.........
Robin takes his soulful sound, so unique to him...but seems to reinvent his sound within his bluesy/psychedelic/emotional framework. Always Trower...Always so Good! 🎸 ❤
When other artists of his generation release new music only every decade or longer (AHEMRollingStones) or not at all, Robin Trower’s drive, talent and endless creativity have served his fans with an amazing EIGHT stupendous albums in the last 10 years! Can’t wait until October!
Yeah, that is amazing. No one else is putting out albums that are such high quality at this pace. Truly amazing. As long as he puts them out, I'll be buying them.

Hearing Robin's guitar is a wonderful thing. Ever since I got my first radio station demo disc of Twice Removed from yesterday in the mid 70's I have been a fan.

Fan of Robin for...years. This song says to me, the old, why didn't I see this sooner truth, never put one person to fill all of your needs. Put Jesus Christ in God first. We all want love but we all fall short of Gods glory. And if you don't believe, well, one person can change or get sick or something. You have to be good with yourself first. For that day may come when it doesn't work out or whatever. Trower always had soul. I thought the image here was Patty Smith but didn't they break up years ago? Oh, I see, her image is similar. What a voice.
Robin, please do a version of Purple Rain. I think it is perfectly suited to your style. I always thought Prince was inspired by Daydream when he wrote it. And don't forget the Univibe.
Love all the comments here. I always felt Trower would've fit in Pink Floyd. Hes a bit different then Gilmore, though Gilmore worked out just fine. Perhaps he and Rodger Waters could find common ground.... Musically that is....Not politically. Nevertheless, keep groov'in Robin....Sounds Great as Always🎸

I wasn't thrilled with the first cut (Burn) from this project. I like this one much better but still can't understand the change in direction. In my opinion, his last cd (No More Worlds to Conquer) which put Robin back on the blues/rock charts with a good vocalist in Richard Watts and also utilized his ever-stable drummer Chris Taggart, was nearly flawless and got a whole lot of attention. I hope that he has not parted ways with Taggart and Watts for good. They make a great team.
That unmistakable sound that i love and lived with for near on 40yrs now. But.... I just cant relate to female vocals on the Trower music. No offence, Sari has a fantastic soulful voice. If it were her album, cool. But i hang to hear someone like Paul Rodgers linked on this great song, its made for him. Hearing those 2 legends together would have been exquisite.... dream on. I shall still buy the CD. Just being honest.
