Yes, it all just deprived Van Pelt of all his threatening and frightening impression that he made on the players, Alan and the audience throughout the film, although this has already happened, he was repeatedly reduced to ridicule and arranged for him by Tom and Jerry, not to mention that he is the most cross-eyed hunter in the world. To be honest, I even sympathized with him and these creatures, seeing all this spaggetization, in the end they are only figures-toys of the puppet of this game and have done so much good with their actions.

You shouldn't have trusted that gun store, you buy a shotgun, but it shoots bullets, probably contraband, fake or homemade, and those who collected it just messed up the design. Van Pelt needs to sue them for low-quality goods and non-conformity of goods.

The gun was purchased illegally anyways. The gun reappeared back at the shop and the gold disappears. The game reversed everything back in time. It reminds me of Ghostbusters because he defeated the thing he feared most but in Ghostbusters they defeated a monster created by Ray because he thought it was harmless.

Because its a consequence, any event related to the game was undid

This is a long argument, but this has not been specifically shown. Most likely, the weapon has moved to its original location.

It is my opinion that it disappears because Van Pelt bought it, and the moment he bought it, it became part of the game. But, as I said, that's just my opinion.

The game wanted to get rid of any evidence.

Well everything in timeline was reseted and it inclueded the weapon, so a lot of things were "sucked in" but not showed

I think the guns and cartridges were placed back in the gun shop, their absorption was not shown.
