Demonstration on the noise difference between a Tersa and a Spiral cutter.
you can hear that on Softwood, the noise is the same on the Spiral as on the Tersa. On hardwood, the noise is halved by using the spiral cutter.

This low noise is the same when using a Robland spiral cutter head on NX310PRO ?

Hello, thank you for watching our video. The low noise is exactly the same with the NX310 pro. It's the same kind of arbor (only smaller in diameter and length).

Comparison shows less noise on right machine but Teresa have small area for chip evacuation so it will never be the right choice

Noise seems significantly lower on Hardwood with spiral cutter head! 👍 The young lady is most beautiful & very knowledgeable/ capable. Please advise her that when (Not if) one day her lovely long hair WILL get caught unexpectedly in a machine, it literally WILL scalp her & she will never regrow that most beautiful hair again. Despite how beautiful it looks nice & long, she simply MUST as a matter of habit put her hair in pony tail then “bun” and keep it under a cap/hat (or hair net) for her own protection. I say this ONLY because I care for her safety (& beauty). Back to machine, can I ask if the HX 410 pro combination machine - does this come with spiral head please? Is the spiral head manufactured in house by Robland or is it a retro fitted “Byrd Toolworks USA Shellix spiral / helical cutter head” Or maybe a Chinese CTS spiral cutter head? Just curious what I can find out about NX 410 pro to help with purchase decision. Thank you in advance. 👍

Dear Ian Moone, thank you for your comment and thank you for watching our video's. thank you for your concerns about my safety. Normally i do wear it in a pony tail for safety, but on our D630, there's no risk. If possible, you can give me your e-mail and i will send you all information about purchase and if needed extra info about the machine. In our factory, 95% of our parts are manufactured here. We have a full production and assembly line (as you can see on one of our videos). The tersa-system and spiral cutter head are manufactured by MBM (italy) because they are patented for the cutter heads. Kind regards, Evy
