USE STAR CODE FLAMINGO I HATE THE FTC today I play Roblox submarine games that are based off tragedies as of recent and I do not like these games they are in maybe bad taste
I'd like to add that it was one of the best deaths one can have. As it all happened before the human brain registers pain, and faster than the eyes can see. It imploded within 10ms. Which means they didn't see anything or feel anything. Just one sec they were there, and the other it was black. No pain, no nothing. Quite peaceful.
2:32 I'm actually glad you mentioned this because I've had the same thoughts. I think about how much the Titanic is basically romanticized in the entertainment industry to the point where we forget that it's a real event that happened in only the preceding century. But it has been long enough now that the people who were directly affected by it are pretty much all gone, which is why we think it's okay for all of these insensitive things based off of it to exist. But it shouldn't be. It was still a tragedy. A much worse tragedy than this recent event.
i honestly expect 9/11 to start being treated like this in like 50 years or so. Once the people who were directly affected by an event like this die off, there is nobody left with the guilt surrounding such loses of life. Prime example of this is, like you said, the Titanic. Once the people who were personally affected by it died, nobody was around to say the movie was insulting to them
In a video the CEO LITERALLY SAID “I broke some rules to build this, like you arent suppose to use titanium and carbon fiber but I did it anyways.” That’s enough for me to run away and hit the gas pedal.
Seriously, it's baffling people are actually defending the stupidity of the passengers on board (with the exception of the kid who was pressured into it). I could care less about natural selection than the many boat accidents and tragedies that kill hundreds of people a day, with boats that are *actually designed* to keep people safe, yet they don't bother to talk about that on the news do they?
To be blunt, they were pretty much asking for it. They had basically 0 destructive tests for the submersible's hull, utilized carbon fiber for their submersible's hull which could not handle the water pressure at the depths of the titanic, had a control system for the submersible that would constantly disconnect rendering no communications access for 2-4 hours, fired their submarine safety expert, underwent multiple excursions using the submarine that imploded (4, which possibly contributed to the implosion due to a weakened hull). In summary, it was pretty scuffed. Big f. Edit: By no means am I trying to say that they deserved to die, but considering all the risks involved due to Rush's incompetence, it was bound to happen, which is what I meant by "they were pretty much asking for it". As for the passengers, OceanGate asked their customers to sign waivers that highlighted the possibility of death and physical injury, as well as the issues with the submarine that experts had previously warned them about. Which is why many people called it a "death waiver". Overall, most of the problems we see here stem from negligence.
@@thehongler eh, I agree but also I don’t. They knew it wasn’t safe at all, the guy that brought his son knew it was super dangerous and his son was terrified to go with him. So while I don’t agree with speaking ill of the dead (except the guy that made it that died on it) they knew and it was stupid to go
Fun fact : one of those games called " Submarine Simulator " with the pic that looks like stickers is actually a horror game that was made before the event happened.
This is a lesson to all the people : never take life for granted. An explanation? Even with all the risks which were there given, the 4 men still decided to go. The 19 year old son was not ready, but he did what make his father happy. Fact : MrBeast was also invited, but gladly, he said no. Rest In Peace to those souls.

It is because ongoing tragedies always get more attention than finished tragedies Also the panic of a time-limit always attracts more clicks It was the same thing with that Thai soccer team that got stuck in a cave
To be fair, they used a Logitech controller to control it, and the controller survived. Not only that, but it was illegal, and the submarine was barely made out of bad materials. Edit: I know they use Xbox controllers in the military, but that's because the new recruits are used to them, and they are better than Logitech. The guy forced his son on there as well, even though he was scared and didn't want to go, so even the death waver argument isn't a good defense in this case.
I feel like roblox users are trying to make a joke out of the tragedy and it's so hilarious seeing the crap people make to what they "think it looked like"
I majored in aircraft engineering and just hearing about a submarine with CARBON FIBER used in its construction, I wasn’t surprised when it happened. Carbon fiber is good at holding pressure in, but not keeping it out.
I only feel bad for the one 19 year old who only went with his dad on fathers day even though he was scared. Otherwise the other 4 were literally asking for it at that point.
The other 4 didn't do anything morally wrong by going on the submarine. They were enthusiasts about the titanic right? using your money for your passions isn't this huge crime. if they knew it was THAT dangerous they wouldn't have gone.
I literally made a really good one called Titanic Submarine Simulator and they took it down when I spent literal research on the sub, trying to mimic the inside while making it enjoyable.

The dude who made the submarine is the one being clowned not the people who died, it was found the submarine was very poorly made (you can probably make a better one if you have enough materials)

Yep, his dad asked him to go on it with him for Father's day. He said yes because he didn't want to hurt his dad's feelings. He was terrified to go on it, but did it just for his dad. He sadly paid with his life.

I know he doesn’t do admin anymore but I think this is a good idea so I’m gonna say it anyways. You teleport everyone to an arena outside the map. And at first make it seem like they need to survive. But then give them all swords. Who ever wins gets put in jail for everyone to see. Like their on display or something.

Explanation for the jokes: people are laughing at how it was built, it was controlled by a literal Logitech controller that was 30$ dollars, they’re not laughing at the people who died.
Didn't they put a flag on the Titanic when they first found it to memorialize and tell others to leave it be so the dead people could rest? And most of those people who died were poor as the poor people were not allowed on the life boats. And they controlled the thing with a freaking console controller. I feel bad (mainly for the 19 yr old) but they kind of had it coming (Except for the 19 yr old, he deserved better) .. They knew the risks as well. That's just my personal view on the whole thing! It has been a crazy couple of weeks!
I know. It’s horrible to know the dad kind of made the 19 year old come. He knew all the risks and was willing to take them for his dad for Father’s Day. They kind of had it coming, but seriously? the person who made the submarine broke a lot of safety rules, also how stupid are you to get in a tiny capsule not even a submarine, drilled shut, and controlled by a game controller. They had to sign a huge contract and it said that all of the risks.
i was on a mission trip and had no clue about the submarine, i can’t tell you how confused i was when everyone was talking about how “fun” submarines are

I’m pretty sure the 19 year old got on there for their dad for Father’s Day, tbh there’s actually a lot of rich people in the world who are the sweetest people ever. If it were anyone else everyone would still make fun of it because everyone is immature about ANYTHING. Until it involves them then it’s apparently not so “funny”.

@@lysdiesi think youve inherently misunderstood it. its not that "oh anyone who has 2 houses is shitty" its that almost everyone who went on the trip was a billionaire. to become a billionaire there is no moral or ethical way to earn it, practically it is soley reliant on the exploitation of workers you hire and then underpay. additionally there is no feasible explanation or need for any one individual to have that much money/power
Video Idea : Albert should play " A Stereotypical Obby " - Ignited Softworks , It seems innocent when you dont investigate but it will for sure make him suprised by the ending, I recommend to play it blindly and with no research and Full Graphics and Half or more volume.
I know I may be thinking too far into this, but with the obby with the cookies, it reminds me of one of the last pictures of Stockton rush, CEO of oceangate. He was seen weighing a diver known on RU-vid as DALLYMYD for the dive on the Titan Submersible. DALLYMYD was carrying a bag of cookies and 2 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Thankfully he didn’t go on the submersible, as he decided not to because of the weather. Stockton Rush weighing him was one of the last photos taken of Stockton before his death in the OceanFate submersible.

You should go in Brookhaven, Get a friend of your to go with you, then dress the exact same as a child or baby, then one of you ask to be adopted(you both should probably go on an alt account with close usernames) once you are adopted Ask for roommate then hide, and your friend comes out who looks exactly like you, and he or she can say, “hey it didn’t work and you roommate me again?” Then once he she who adopted you did that, then one of you can become a scary demon creature of some sort, and scare he she and make them think they are crazy
