Pink haired girl is Bloom and Blonde haired girl is Blossom. The game can be a metaphor for many things. Childhood trauma, for one. The house created a fear of being seen and yelled at. Then, of course, school. At first, you’re good at questions, but suddenly, you don’t understand anything, and nothing is stopping, it feels like everyone is laughing and staring at you (except for Blossom, hence the feelings developing). Then there’s the dodgeball, where it feels like everyone is targeting Bloom (again, everyone but Blossom) and she breaks down crying. In the final one, she tries to bring a love note to her crush, but a bunch of people who have picked on her are talking and, despite mustering up the courage to talk to her, she falls. And again, she cries. The story is about coming to terms with your traumatic experiences and not letting them consume you. This is why the worst ending is Wither; you don’t try and grow, try and Bloom into a better person, you don’t move forward from your painful past, but you decide to “pull yourself out of the soil”, so to speak.
I always interpreted the game as a metaphor for social anxiety! Everyone turns their attention to Bloom when she got too many questions wrong even if she got the first few right, Bloom curls up into a ball in dodgeball even if she was doing well, Bloom literally gets so frightened by the person at the door she stumbles back. The confession level is debatable, but I interpreted it as Bloom loathing herself so much after seeing Blossom being able to socialize normally while she can't. Whether the silhouetted group is there to confess to her too is beyond me, but it discourages Bloom from confessing at all. (I may or may not be projecting here since I have had anxiety attacks in social situations before, but this is how I've always interpreted the game!)
@@elisagaxio I think its a confession tho that card is pretty explicit (imo) and the only person that is nice to Bloom is Blossom so I think it would be the only person she could have a crush on.
Same! me and my freind spent 2 hours trying to convince ourselves it wasnt a glitch and we spent ages trying to figure the secret ending but we gave up and came here! also did u see the thing thrown at you is blooms head! we were shocked XDD

Idk how this happend but when I finished the 6th ending… I left and I looked at the pfp and at the window was blooms friend as a demon.. I was actually so scared btw if u guys don’t believe me look at the pfp at the window…
None of that, it’s about traumatic childhood, because she was lesbian. Some ppl don’t support that right? That’s why everyone (besides pigtails girl/blossom) picked on bloom.
