I agree with Kreek on DWC’s response having some truth to it, showing how Roblox being ignorant to some exploits, and having terrible moderation. Though this wasn’t the way to express it. Saying disgusting things making multiple accounts being taken down, especially to unaware kids and streamers was pretty messed up, ( even more so when they cry) seeing how some people took advantage. Even though it took Roblox 2 days to finally say something after the damage was already done, I'm still glad they've addressed the problem, and people are able to get their accounts back.
Finally, Roblox is actually trying to fix this problem. But the fact that it took this long is just sad. Being such a big game, Roblox really needs to start fixing these things faster before something very bad happens.
@@harrisxezditz 1 day? This exploit has been here since 2016, and roblox knew about it but all they did was put a note that says: please do not abuse this command for games. This isn't a new exploit.
I read the message the hackers sent out, and that is absolutely *sick* . They're doing this whole thing only for themselves. Not only is that selfish, but it has people all spun up about this whole situation and terrified they'll lose all their hard work. I hope ROBLOX gets this over with soon, because the fact that the hacker said they'll be back horrifies me. Edit: Yes, I do realize they’re also doing this to give ROBLOX a wake up call, no need to attack me guys
but you gotta admit. if this leads to a better moderation system, and picks roblox back on their feet to care more about the community, even though how selfish and toxic this is. inside of this scenario it might do more good then bad. that’s just my opinion though
It also scares me that the hacker will be back and Said they'll be back does scare me too, but they did state a point, ROBLOX should up their security on the games and web itself, they're probably too lazy to do so.
i agree with Kreek about DWC’s response. some of the things they have said are true. BUT HOWEVER doing that to kids, streamers, just regular people who just wanna play the game is not okay. some people don’t know and people do spend money on this game. 5 dollars to 50,000 dollars. they could’ve found another way to say roblox needs to fix their moderation w/o banning peoples accounts. -an anonymous robloxian
Finally, ROBLOX does something that’s helpful. But, the exploiters do bring up a pretty good point. ROBLOX does need to up their security so that way this won’t happen in the future
I do agree that Roblox moderation hasn't been too good for a while but I'm also glad they finally responded. Thank you, Kreek, for keeping us updated on this and helping us be safe! we really appreciate it, and we all hope Roblox can finally stop being kind of lazy and fix this.
I’m glad roblox done something about this and people are getting their accounts back. The issue is they do need to have better moderation in order for stuff like this to not happen again.
It’s honestly hard to believe how bad the worlds becoming. These exploiters are just horrible, I’m still processing the fact they’d make a bunch of poor innocent children just trying to have a good time loose years of hard work. When I saw the kid they tricked crying in that one video it broke my heart, I go out to everybody involved with this. Roblox has been going through some tough times…
I am happy that roblox has left a response about this big incident. It has been a problem for a while now. For now, we just applause for ROBLOX for a moment to appreciate how they're aware of the incident.
I'm so happy that roblox responded to this big incident/drama about the hackers and the games, It's finally time for Roblox to give action once and for all about it.
Roblox might be able to fix this by disabling moderation from scripts that make the player chat and tagging it instead but this wouldn't be really good because of course, people could try and bypass the chat filters using words with similar pronunciations of the word that aren't tagged, so it could be a help to the banning problem but other problems will come out of it aswell.
I'm glad they've finally responded but it took them so long.. 2 days. With the amount of social media coverage this situation had, I would have expected them to do something sooner. Also they should have secured TextChatService way before. This was bound to eventually happen. And sadly, clarkt1000 and most people that got affected by this still hasn't gotten their account back.
Oh my god. Finally. I feel really bad for everyone who lost their accounts from this disaster. Roblox should be more cautious about this kind of stuff. But still, at least Roblox is fixing this. I am relieved.
Finally, Roblox has done something about this huge problem. Roblox may not have the best moderation, but it’s so great that victims of this issue are being unbanned and Roblox is getting back to normal. Good thing that Roblox is actually listening to their players and creating to best experience for the players. This platform may not be perfect, but they are actually trying their best at their moderation now.
Finally, ROBLOX responded! and with good news aswell. Though I must say, the exploiters are pretty mean people for just laughing at the fact they've made tons of children probably really sad and confused. Sure, they did probably do it to give ROBLOX a slight wake-up call aswell on how bad their security and moderation is but that wasn't entirely their goal so they did it in a pretty bad way.

The message that the exploiters sent out is absolutely disgusting, they are only doing it for “fun” when they are literally ruining people’s hard work. They may have said some true things like how bad the moderation is and how ignorant Roblox is but that doesn’t change the fact that the exploiters are disgusting people. They act like they have control of our accounts and that we don’t deserve anything, and nothing is happening to them. (not anymore)
I love how they said that they were a bunch of minors and that they were doing this for fun indicating that the true reason they did this is because they’re just a ton of sickening teens who like to see kids cry.
I’m glad that Roblox addressed the issue but I’m really concerned about Roblox’s firewall. Firewalls are meant to prevent hacks and so far it’s not been holding up the best

1:12 Hey Kreek Hardware isn't really that much of a deal as I experienced one myself in another game there are a lot of applications that can get ur hardware id changed so expect them to come back.
kreek, the whole term "hacker" or "hacking" is finding an exploit in the system to make it do something it's not meant to do, meaning they're hackers, not exploiters.
Hackers are actually a term for people who gain unauthorised access to accounts and things they are not supposed to. Exploiters abuse bugs or exploits in the system to gain an advantage or to cause damage.
This is an exploiter I know the guy he also owned famous exploit hubs known as syntax hub agent as well is quite popular they are known in the FE exploiting community (the scripts that use hats or animations)
Rn i can almost say 100% roblox is safe ... Or atleast for now cuz this is only a short term fix , they can come back tommorow , next week , later today they can come back very soon unless roblox actually releases the long term fix , id still recommend not joining any random games , any games that have admin cuz you can control other player's chats and theres a bad word thats not tagged rn and you can say it (not gonna say it ofc) turning off chat also helps alot and dont afk these days cuz if you afk for an example in pls donate they can maybe tp you.
@@andreix4025 for now yes , but this is a short term fix , so the exploiters can be back later today , tommorow , next week or hopefully never . we are not sure yet so id still recommend turning off chat and not joining any games that has admin commands for free or as a gamepass. until the long term fix.

I hate it when hackers/exploiters will abuse things, and then try to become the good guy by "exposing roblox's flaws" it wouldn't be a flaw until would have access to it but now that's what you gave them.

They have automatic moderation bots doing the moderation so they need to get new moderation bots that have high intelligence so that stupid bans for saying words like gay don't happen

The message the hackers put out was extremely narcissistic and sadistic. It is horrible how they enjoy making people sad and disappointed. It sounds like a serial killer saying that they are not ashamed for murdering people, just not as severe.
@kreek, it was actually mainly created by TeleportGameStudio, Perthecer, and ClientErr0r, along with a few other connected accounts such as 2m9 and multiple accounts with the display name ‘666s’.
Finally roblox gave a response! I’m sad and feel bad for the people who lost their accounts! They definitely didn’t deserve that! Finally they took responsibility.
I’ve heard that the reason all this is happening is because the kohl’s admin is hacked right now,Meaning that every game that use’s kohl’s admin has basically been hacked and and are unsafe to play at the moment.

the whole '' giving roblox a wake up call '' thing seems omg such like an excuse, like the tone they said it in makes it seem like they came up with it on the fly and also wanted to be threatening, like it feels like the hackers wanted to be roblox myths, but they werent popular enough or the myth was just bad, so they became hackers
