Heya, i'm the Head Wiki editor for Formula Apex (yes, there's a wiki), and there's a few things that i found really funny while watching this. 11:01 The way map voting works is that the tracks and options which appear earliest get priority, so voting for Saitama would have won it the vote. Your first lobby was really lucky because almost everyone had a starter or backmarker car. The second a 2021 car breathes on the track, everyone else loses. 13:48 Nah, that's how much you earned from a lap. If you hit a track limit, most of the earnings from getting a lap are pretty much shot. 16:22 You haven't SEEN the amount of people that vote for Indianapolis or Baku the second it shows up, it's flat out a disease. 16:38 Yeah i don't know what they were smoking with the audio levels . ALWAYS set the in-game volume to 1. 16:16 That's not actually Montreal, it's a fictional track made for the game. It's pretty good, but VERY jank. When using the modern cars, ERS management is paramount due to the fact there's no colission. You joined a little bit after the most recent update that added wet weather racing, and somehow, the V10 era cars are the best in the wet. Don't ask me how. 15:08 The way the penalties work in this game are that you are given three warnings. You break those 3 warnings and you get hit by a pit limiter for 3 seconds. Make a really big cut and you're immediatly given one. If you think that's odd, there used to be NO warnings. Yeah, needless to say, PA is a very interesting experience. If you ever do feel like trying the game, i do suggest giving the wiki a read, because this game's history is wild.
Formula apex is actually a pretty legit game, they had a collab with Hugo boss and for a while, you could drive a licensed VCARB 01 in the game for a special event, apparently Yuki Tsunoda himself actually tried it out. If you ever plan on doing this again, Id recommend Project Trackday which sorta attempts a more somewhat “realistic” racing experience on Roblox with all sorts of motorsport classes to race with and Midnight Racing Tokyo which is made by the same devs and is more about street racing.
formula apex player here. by far the cleanest formula racing game on roblox. its play to win in that a few cars are objectively faster than others (see: 2021), but other than the grinding involved, its a pretty good game also, the audio things are a problem with roblox itself lol. just open up the menu and turn it down if you ever return

U should stream Formula Apex till u get 100 wins. Btw if ur lap is invalided it gives in £2.5k but if it aint then its like £5k. Honestly track limits are light in some circuits but in others good luck
There's an entire roracing community with leagues as well, some give prize money if their big enough. If you (for whatever reason) want to continue down this rabbit hole, talk with me and I can show some of the more well known leagues, I have years worth of videos on my channel if you're interested.
I (used) to be a roblox racing player, stopped playing by personal issues. Formula Apex had a very big rival, Formula ION. It was very similar, but the difference is that in ION it was filled by tryhard kids that were Schumacher mode, so if you wanted a game that was easy and not filled of professional ppl, you chose Apex lol The thing is, last year the ION developers let know that they would discontinue the game to make another with different motorsport categories... The game was delayed several times and when it came out it was absolutely horrible with tons of bugs. After the first time i tried it, i haven't touched it never again, since then, Apex stood as the best.
4:40 Chill, kids are good at video games. When I was ten I was (basically) speed running games I can't even beat today... and I still can't come close to some of my old times or high scores or whatever on my Gamecube or N64...
ive met the developer of the game (formula classic) when the only map was monza and hockenheim 2001, he was really chill and ask me and a person there what needed to be done/ added to the game, i asked for a camera(t pod)
no, it is indeed a helmet you can wear it's just when you calim the badge, you claim the wearable item. this is with all avatar items that you can unlock in games.
I don't know like so much from racing games but... mentioning if you want to try ventureland? it's now an artifact of when roblox was aiming for a metaverse ive played it in 2020 egg hunt, and that's as far i played roblox.
If you're ever wanting to revisit Roblox, I'd recommend Project Trackday. It's more of a general sim than a game dedicated to F1 but there are a lot of F1 cars and tracks
There was this f1 game me and my friends played regularly in like 2015 We'd have loads of fun smashing up our cars and someone once drove backwards around the track I think the games been taken down now, i cant find it
You should definitely try Project Trackday. It’s a little more accurate but you would probably have to pay for the car if you don’t want an alpine. Although to be fair sometimes the old GP2 car can keep up with the F1 car if it’s an alpine.
funny thing, im actually a league driver for formula classic (not very impressive ik) but the 51 cars recently got an update which makes it a lot more slide and worse to control just an fyi
if you want to try a kinda good f1 copy: Ultimate racing 2d 2 is kinda good , the only problem is that it taken a while to get to f1 level racing but there are other category`s you can unlock faster
Sad that Aleroy (the formula classic creator) had to remake the ferrari team into Fiorenzo cuz ferrari is killing roblox games with their cars in it... (tho i don't mind it actually resembles ferrari's actual colours with Modena Yellow)

my PC volume is already down on 8% because it comes out through my audio adapter, turned it down to 2% for this and it still blew out my headphones... not much else I can do 😅
